I have been watching you for a long time and God, I always get so jealous seeing you own all the hardcover version of these books. They all look so beautiful hardcover!
It's ridiculous how much I loved the traveling cat Chronicles. I don't really like cats (I'm allergic so I'm neutral) but it really spoke to the bonds you can have with a pet and the people around you. Really loved it. Cried a couple of times. Definitely listen to the audiobook. Amazing narrator.
Great list Helene, I agree with you that Three Things About Elsie deserves more love and appreciation for it's message. Happy Christmas x
Glad to see the Banffy trilogy is on your list of favorites! I plan on reading the first one starting right after Christmas. Don’t think I’ve heard anyone else talk about Banffy. So glad you did! I think I’ll like it.
Wow if those books were honorable mention I can't wait to see your favorites. Four of the books on your is are also on my wish list. Love your videos. I wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year
I saw a copy of The Revolution of Marina M at the store and was fascinated by the cover. Still on the fence about getting it but knowing it's a runner up for you helps.
Love your sweater Helene!! Also thanx for the great recommendations Merry Christmas!!!❤️
Kristin Hannah also wrote Winter Garden, which I read at the beginning of this month, and it immediately went on my 2018 favorites list. She’s officially a new favorite author of mine.
Glad I found your channel - your book choices match what I like to read.
I've just finished A gentleman in Moscow and I couldn't let go because I found it so enthrailling
Thankyou Helene this was another great video . I also read the great alone by Kristin Hannah and I really loved Alaska and it’s wilderness all about how the people survived their incredible winters! I’m trying to finish East of Eden by the end of December. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
your videos always make my tbr grow so much! 😅💕
This was a great list of reviews and a great video as always, I really always love watching your videos and just listening to you talk about books. I feel bad that in 2018 I hadn't read as much as I wanted to but I'm hoping I read more in 2019. A Gentleman In Moscow sounds like it has a few things in common with The Mezzanine (a book that takes place over a five minute elevator ride), I love when so much can happen in what you think is a limited setting. I also am intrigued by the cat book. I have a few cats myself and the book sounds like it'll be both fun and sad.
A great honorable mentions list. I can't wait to see what made your favorites.
Most of the books I read are the one that you recommend. I don’t know what will I do if you stop making these videos. So please keep your channel going and do not ever stop making these videos (at least try not to). Lots of love 😊
I really liked The Great Along as well. I'm waiting until after the holidays to read Three Things about Elsie
I loved the traveling cat chronicles! If that was just an honourable mention I have high expectations for you favourites if the year.
