Also, I loved Astonish Me. I love most ballet fiction (well the ones where it's depicted correctly). As a lifelong dancer, it's something that appeals to me.
I saw that Morten Pape book in another video and I Google translated the summary from goodreads and it sounds fascinating. I hope it gets translated to English.
So glad to see you back making videos again! Happy to see you're well and not getting cabin fever too badly. I highly recommend Lock Every Door. I love Riley Sager's writing style, and I've read all his books. This one is my favorite.
Claire mackintosh books are very excellent, I read them all and each one was suspenseful with very good character development. High rating by me. See you Helen ❤️
Hello, Helene! You have a great selection for April. "Lock Every Door" is a high-speed, hard-to-put-down thriller that will have you making sure you really did lock every door!---I'm reading a collection of essays called "Writing in Restaurants" by David Mamet (1986). So far the essays are mostly about what theater is and should be and what theater and movies say about us the book is also about creativity. The author says a lot in few words so this short book is slow going but excellent. I'm beginning the 1946 biography "Lady Susan Lennox---An Irrepressible Stuart---1745-1826" by Edith Roelker Curtis. It' s a worn book I saved years ago from being recycled and now it's time to finally read about Lady Susan.
Gillespie and I was so good. But then, I love anything Jane Harris writes. If you start The River, you won't be able to put it down! I read it in one sitting I was so enthralled by the story.
Hey Helene, good to see you still 😊 and reading! I've recently finished I See You by Claire Mackintosh, and I Let You Go is her first book. A pretty absorbing, fast paced thriller, so I'd pick this one 👋👋
The best thing that has come from this virus is the return of Helene to booktube! So glad to have your content back. X

Lowborn is BRILLIANT. Kerry is brilliant. I’ve still not read The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. Shame on me. Nice selection.
I am a mood reader as well. I have a TRB but I tend to vary from it quite a bit because sometimes I just want to read something different lol.

I’m reading Shirley by Charlotte Bronte now. I read The Tenant of Wildfell Hall in January and absolutely adored it.
This books selection is excellent, thank you Helene!
I miss Zeus on your video. Zeus Zeus, Zeus... :-)
I have Lock Evey Door on my kindle. I think I'll read it this month and compare our thoughts on it!
I would choose either Astonish me or The Fever. Or both.
