Today, I am going to meet my friends from the CZcams channel @jetlagwarriors for the first time after 1.5 years. We spent some days at the Damai Beach Resort here in Sarawak, Borneo Malaysia and had a blast! During our stay, the Rainforest World Music Festival, which in an annual event here in Sarawak, took place basically right next to our hotel. Ken, for your information, Borneo in the north consists of Sarawak and Sabah of Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam. In the south it's Kalimantan of Indonesia. This island is made up of three countries. 🤗

7:49 Ken, Steve and Ivana, if you ever interested in turtle hatchery and night turtle watching, you are able to do so at Rimbun Dahan Turtle Hatchery at Pahang-Terengganu border. but you will need to call to find out if it is in season, mostly apr-sept. but it is better to call in advance to confirm. sorry i am not able to recommend any such activity in sarawak or sabah. these 2 are my least travel states, eventhough i am born sarawakian. one day, i will.

Sarawak is nice but ticket price to expensive better go to Jakarta Indonesia coz flight ticket much cheaper than Borneo 🤭

Wow..you had landed at Satang Island. I had landed at the island more than 30 years ago and on my return trip the next day, our boat nearly capsized when hit a sandbar. The island belonged to 4 women of an Abang family.

Yup, it's like picking up back in 2020 where things left off... Must have been quite a blast on the island and swimming in the middle of the ocean. Buffet food looks awesome , can't be that when you are eating on a beach..... Looking forward to the next adventure around Sarawak... Stay safe out there.
