I understand you use Dark & Lovely boxed relaxer..I keep hearing that no lye relaxers leave calcium deposits in your hair over time..however you don't seem to have that problem!

I honestly can't tell a difference between when I use no lye and lye relaxers.

Yes, more than possible. I rarely plait my hair. I wash my hair weekly and keep it in a protective style--usually a bun or claw clip.
