I am a dog behaviorist and researcher in United States.. Dogs actually understand and are even OK with death,unlike humans. Dogs are NOT OK with abandonment. So with that said..if a dogs owner or someone or even a pet sibling passes on..ALWAYS try to let the dog see,smell the owner or sibling after they passed. If an owner passes away say in the hospital, and all the dog knows is one day his owner walked out the door,,he is still waiting for him to return..and he wont, so the dog actually will.consider this abandonment. Dogs don't understand.and don't like feeling abandoned.. So often dogs will become depressed and anxious.
There's a word for people like him. Conman. What's next? He can talk to lions? I don't feel sad for the animals like what he mentioned. Instead I feel sad for the people who fall for BS conman like him
