- Is NF saying he didn't know fame would be Like This? Or is he talking about someone in his life? Reacting to this had us a little confused on what he was talking about. I mean, it's NF so he could have been talking about all of the above and more lol.

I mean, I suppose everyone has their own interpretation of this song, but I felt like he was talking about Anger? I just keep replaying that line from 'Remember This', "Anger's a liar he ain't got no respect". In the first verse of this song he like, "you got no respect, stop with all the threats". And then, he says in this song, "You prolly wanna leave, but don't know how,". He ain't sure how to get rid of his anger, especially when in mansion he seemed grateful for his anger. "I gotta thank you for this anger that I carry around." It probably doesn't seem as much of a problem to him as Fear. Anger can be useful. In "Nate", I don't remember the line, but he said he wrote raps when he was mad. If he considers it a part of him, a part of his process, it would be hard to let go of. A lot of things he says in this song feel like a reference to anger, "don't hear a thing when you yell", "doing my best to try to stay calm". The last lines "Thought that I could let this go, But I ain't know that it would be like this", could mean he's struggling to let go of it. Even in Intro 3 he said "I wish I was burying anger, but imma need him for that song, he still lives in the basement". Anger is still useful to him, so it's harder to part with. That's just my interpretation. Probably reading waaay too deep into it, but ya know, to each their own.

This made me remember about another thing of NF. Hopsin said in Lost that anger will always be a part of him. NF has said before that he will hold anger to another album/song. I forgot what specifically. It would be crazy if they both work on a song of that topic.

“My Life” off the perception album is another amazing song which was to one of his sisters. As well as “Dreams” & “10 Feet Down”

He did say in Leave Me Alone he text Fame, so he does personify even external issues. I wonder if it is Fame he is talking about? Not sure, in My Life he talks about a family member, a sister I think, that has some issues he describes them in negative terms. And he says he loves them to death too.
