I met him when he made Major Payne. He was very funny but respected the kids he worked with. He had lost his Rolex and my son found it and gave it to him. I hope he remember that, because my son didn't do what most high school students would have. I hope you can remember my son. Take care and it was a honor being at the set with you and the crew.

I'm glad he's still alive. He has always been one of my favorite comedians/actors. I hope he can find it in himself to rest, enjoy the rest of his time with his family, and let them enjoy their lives with him. He has given us the stuff of legends already.

I first ran across him decades ago watching, In Living Color, and he quickly became one of my favorites! His versatility and comedic instincts were amazing. He really does have a gift for comedy! Diabetes is manageable but will take a toll on you especially as you age. Sounds like he was determined to have his career in spite of it but the time came when he had to make a choice. I’m so glad he keeps fighting and overcoming his medical challenges. Best of luck to you Damon. So many people love you and wish you well ! God bless you! 🙏

I too am a type 2 diabetic, due to chronic back injuries & had become disabled. It is not a death sentence in 2023. It can be reversed as well if you are discipline. You don't have to suffer.
Right diet and exercising takes it right away
That is what I always say 2 means when people say type two diabetes. 1. Diet 2. Exercise. If you have type 1 the one stands fore insulin needle. If someone becomes a type 2 diabetic and don’t make the changes needed it can be a very sad situation that can very well be diverted. What I wouldn’t give to be a type 2. @@latashacalloway3423

I wish him love and good health ahead. I am a diabetic adult with coronary issues and am in need of a kidney transplant, I've also had many strokes. I have been fighting 26 years which gave me time to raise my daughter. With every day I look to find something to make me smile. Damon watch the sun rise, it gives you so much beauty each and every day and you know you have another day.

I’ve had Type II diabetes ever since my early 30’s, and I am 65 now. I’ll tell you this - Get a good doctor and get a Vgo it’s like a insulin pump, it gives me 0.82 units an hour and depending on what I’m eating you also give a shot/shots before eating. I’ve also got a Libre 2 which gives an alarm for both too high and too low blood sugar. I started 4 years ago using them with my A1C being 13-14, but now my A1C is 6

I liked/loved him for 'In Living Color'. Long before the above show came about. But think only a certain population watched and appreciated that show. Extreme talents on it despite the haters. And he and his family own plenty of rights to shows and original creators including producers of 'Scary Movie' franchise til sold to Charlie Sheen, he liked it so much. A certain type of fan was well aware of him doing movies before the Wife & Kids came out. Don't think he's 'suffering' for much. But who knows.
