Dude. I feel the same way about The Walking Dead. I wish someone would buy the rights/convince AMC to make an animated series for it. Live action can’t work when actors age far beyond the source material.
Season 1 Omni man is trying to convince mark to give up his humanity because humans are weaker and beneath them and that he needs to embrace being a viltrumite to dominate them. Meanwhile in season two that same lesson is flipped on it’s head and mark doesn’t reject him because now Omni man is telling mark point blank he needs to fight like a viltrumite in order to save everyone. It’s not to dominate or destroy but he needs to embrace his power in order to protect people. This is the lesson that works this time since it’s coming from a place of good and not some crazy viltrumite idea of domination by force for some great good.
The end of season 1 was Omni man trying to convince himself, not mark
Honestly we have to stop saying things look bad on purpose. It’s the same cop out they used with the flash, and what’s the difference between that and a MCU movie with bad CGI if they say “well we wanted to make it bad so that it would be a contrast”….like come on man, just make good animation
Yeah the people producing this show need to give the animators the time and resources they need to make it look as good as it can. Like season am Anime that have 20+ episodes look better sometimes
@@wisdommanari6701most modern anime look better than anything coming from the US. It’s like we praise our mediocrity when there’s clearly great animation in other parts of the world. We need to stop patting ourselves on the back

While I agree with the sentiment there’s a difference between animation, where everything is inherently stylistic, and CGI in big films which by its very nature is intended to be photorealistic to mesh with the live action actors/set pieces
Angstrom Levy is not a riff on the current Kang saga. This story has always been this way. It’s just adapting what was already in the comic.

Talking about that scene with Mark Hammil and Debbie was a great point. Makes me think of watching the flash long ago on CW and having similar type scenes where they do the "Iris you're just as important to this as anyone else is" and it's corny and you clearly don't buy it with her BF being the flash. But they really nail it in this show which really highlights how much this show loves superhero stories and yet still nails what they can't.

Per silver surfer, If they're doing a fantastic four story that's like a alternate universe where silver surfer is a female then it makes sense otherwise if they're just doing it to do it it's kind of stupid but also I don't care lol
The only reason Silver Surfer served Galactus was to save the woman he loved from him. He is written as somewhat of a tragic character with him constantly trying to find a way out of doing Galactus's destructive bidding without dooming her. I have 0 confidence Marvel will revamp the character as a woman well. Marvel does not know how to write strong female characters because they don't actually believe in them. They just want to be able to say they have 50%> female characters.
Their best effort was Wanda, whom I am a big fan of. But WTF was doctor strange 2 about? They undid her entire Wandavision arc. Being a strong female character should never be a definitive character trait. Just make a good and interesting strong character. Being female should just be an ancillary trait. I grew up loving characters like Raven,Starfire, Wonder Woman, MCU Black Widow, Jean Grey, Storm, Android 18, etc. I liked them because they were great characters. I never once thought of them as "strong female charecters" because i never gave a shit they were female. Changing a charecter sex to be more inclusive in this case really is lazy and stupid. Especially because Nova already exist as a well liked character who is already female whom is a servant of Galactus.
Disney admitted they care more about their "social messaging" more than they do profit in their SEC filings. In order to make a profit you just need to produce good content that people enjoy! But they can't be bothered to do that. If you really think about what they're doing its actually immoral, racist, and sexist in itself. Director and actors are not being based on their merits, experience, passion, or ability to do their jobs. They're hired as token characters that check boxes.
I've loved listening to you guys over the last 4+ years , but I do find it somewhat said you can't see Diseny has just poisoned the entertainment Industry by inflicting their beliefs and social messaging into beloved apolitical IPs like Star Wars & Marvel. It's not about entertainment anymore. To make things worse, they don't even give an actual fuck about any "people or communities they claim to represent". Case & point.

Also Disney: Launches Disney + in Saudia Arabia where homosexuality = death. They just cut out anything gay out of their content. They do the same shit with everything they release in China. Disney is on fire. It's their fault, I grew up on the MCU and partially Star Wars and I do just find it sad to see both IPs fall off so fast and so hard. I was in denail and then a bit angry at first, but I'm much more apathetic it all now.
I am very disappointed yall don't see the error is Disney's ways. Nerdrotics tweet was accurate though. Imagine trying to turn Barbie into a boy brand. Barbie 2, featuring the Liver King & Slyvester Stallone fighting King Kong! The movie would bomb then they'd blame the audience for being sexist for not seeing Barbie for having strong Men in it. 😂

The hiatus between the 4 episodes of season 2 is actually a really good time for viewers to give the comics a shot. Invincible is a incredible series the whole way through and the comics are absolutely worth reading during the break until part 2 and should help people who need their invincible NOW!

I think most people want to finish season 2 before reading comic spoilers at least. Many people are waiting for the end of the show.
There might be two more generations born into this world by the time this show is complete.
@@Silentwraith365 we're already into the material in the 30s, with only half of season 2 done. It's likely there will be 7 or 8 seasons. 6 at a minimum.
The difference between this and game of thrones is that this series is actually finished and Robert Kirkman seems to have even more influence over this than GRRM with GoT, but time will tell.
I think a big issue where TWD went wrong was how they very selectively followed the comics, and usually made pointless changes or otherwise detracted in a way that made the material worse. Even starting with season one, which was pretty good, there were too many changes after the first episode and it suffered as a result. The farm was basically two issues in the graphic novel and it equaled nearly thirteen episodes of the show.
The swapping of characters is done out of earning Brownie points with progressive audiences. They would never do this with a character like Blade, which they shouldn’t because Blade is black, as a matter of fact, nobody but Wesley Snipes should play Blade

to be fair those are fan questions. and the voice of principle lewis on american dad also voices the mauler twins. But the political shit is becoming nauseating thats for sure.
Sadly, skipped around a few episodes because the interests is fading for me. Its reminding me of the corny and cheesy CW shows. The ending half episode 4 made me remeber why i liked the show, but thats 4 episodes in... ive read the comics so i knw exactly what parts im waiting for, but they put in a few fillers that definitely weren't needed. Breaks in season, regardless of reason, will damage any show.
