The books will be far more in depth if winds of winter ever comes out.. but you were expecting too much from D&D.. they had star wars movies to make and rushed and refused HBO and GRRM begging for 10 seasons.. if they stretched the events of 7 and 8 into having 10 full seasons they coould have added so much more context and exposition but instead they handed out jetpacks to all the main characters.. in one episode *the second or third to last i donte even remember bc i hated it* jon and dany and the super army u described left winterfel for whiteharbor on horseback (and dani on dragon) and then left on ship for dragonstone.. we all know what happened with euron, then they went to Kings landing (by horseback i assume? or by ship? (although euron just destroyed the fleet it seemed) and watched Missandei get beheaded.. All in one episoide and that was the END of the episode.. it was all within like 25 min.. thats going the entire length of the country about 1.5 times.. That alone should have been a season at least.. Now this wouldn't have been a problem but the other 6 seasons (prior to 7 & 8) were all very done without jetpacks ... there were times characters travelled a bit too much but nothing like what was seen in 7 & 8. The pacing and outright too "convenient" events that kept taking place made it all too cheesey for me.. I knew it was especially over when jon was riding rhagal almost immediately.. yes we all know hes a targaryen but this was just such fan service .. always hated dani didn't put saddles on dragons.. it'd be impossible to hold on with the "horn" type pieces of dragon skin.. At least House of the Dragon got that aspect right

Genuinely one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen in the cinema. I was quite enjoying the first half but the plot simply devolved into a directionless mess. The soundtrack was the most invasive and inappropriate I’ve ever heard in a film and really grated. The lingering close ups to build tension were utterly frustrating by the end. I could not wait for the film to finish. Literally 3/10. I did however think Zendaya gave a great performance. The only silver lining.
