      Ohh.. I so love what you have done with Sabaton so far, and I guess you are sort of tired of hearing this... But pretty pretty please, Attack of the dead men. It would become such an awesome story video. The song is great and the story is fantastic and in animated form those two together would just be amazing. :)

      @@VloggingThroughHistory Why don't we just say: "Challenge accepted!" :)
      They did their own video of the Stiegler/Brown story about the same time they did No bullets fly. They recently did a story about Simo Häyhä so it could be White death. But in their video they emphasize that it's an epic undertaking, dedicating everything they have to it for some time so perhaps it's not "just" one animated story video. And Sabaton mentions their upcoming album. So... Could it be the entire album The war to end all wars? :O

    I've seen Sabaton on every single US tour they've ever done, except for this one. Sadly couldn't make it work due to show location in proximity to where I live. They do headline over here in the states frequently, my guess is they will be back in the US within the next couple years headlining. My opinion is that its more fun to see them in smaller venues here, the massive festival shows in Europe are both exhausting and hard to get close to the band due to the large crowds. In the states, it's not a huge deal to be front row for them.

    • @ranekeisenkralle8265
      @ranekeisenkralle8265 Před 2 lety +2

      I concur that small venues are more ...personal, but there is something to be said about the big festivals as well. The whole atmosphere of the experience is fundamentally different. Plus they get to do some fun stuff like at Wacken 2019 where they not only had a bunch of people on stage along with them, but also utilized not one, but all two festival stages simultaneously by bringing back some old band members as well.. It really is worth a watch if you haven't seen it. Here you go: czcams.com/video/vPbaLrbU6Ho/video.html

    • @LeToplache007
      @LeToplache007 Před 2 lety +1

      As someone who has seen them on a headline tour with all the possible pyrotechnics and flamethrowers they have, I'd love to go to a small venue gig one time in the US or somewhere else to experience the sheer personality and crowd interractions on a small show like this one, because when they have a thousand explosions and flamethrowers they don't really have much time to interract with the crowd, rather they just go on with the show with a few interractions. However, I think I would still prefer those explosive headline shows over personal ones, because after experiencing a show here in Europe, a lot of pyros and flames are missing from these song versions. I'm seeing them next year in Europe again and am having standing places rather than seats so it will probably be exhausting but definitely worth it. I can sacrifice my body for a day of awesomeness.

    It's funny though, that venue looked fairly small and when Sabaton plays in Europe they headline Wacken with 80k in the audience. Their US concerts seem to be either as an opening act or in smaller venues. I hope they'll get recognition in the US too. if they do, it's thanks to people like you, Jen, Tank the roadie and a few others who reallly delve deeply into Sabaton's treasure chest of songs.

    My first time seeing Sabaton my friends basically dragged me along, I had no idea who they were. Now I've seen them 7 times and every show has been great. My wife is a classic rock type girl and even she loved seeing Sabaton live and they were my sons first concert.
    Hope the experience was just as good for you.

    Could you check out some Swedish history inspired songs? like for example: Carolus rex, killing ground, Poltava, en livstid i krig (the live version with subtitles) and so on! And then react to the Sabaton history videos about them!

    That sounds absolutely amazing. As a fan of heavy metal/Sabbaton, I would love to catch them live and Judas Priest are legends in heavy metal as well. Hope you had a blast!

    I've seen them live 3 times now, where they've been the headliners, but it's always in a small local venue that's packed shoulder to shoulder so we get no pyrotechnics. Instead we just make the building shake.

    I've never been to a concert before, like at all, and I don't think I'm really much of a concert goer, but I gotta say... this got me pumped. Maybe next time I get the chance, I might consider going to a Sabaton concert. Seems like a lot of fun, even though I usually don't like live performances. I just prefer the studio versions.
    PS: Your reaction to Bismarck was actually the first video of yours that I watched, and the first ever Sabaton song I ever listened to back when it came out in 2019. Kinda crazy.
