I really enjoy the Indian culture in Malaysia, and the food !
Me too totally!!! It’s the BEST and something so different so what I’ve experienced travelling yet!! 😁😁
The temple is beautifully placed inside the cave, which is simply amazing. Your banana leaf dish looked very healthy and delicious. I applaud you for building a beautiful India.
woww.... amazing... hope u enjoy there jose... 👍👌✌️
*The entrance of this temple is also shooted under famous punjabi indian song ningningning... bach ke rahi*
Oh I’ve been hoping you would do this soon!
SO GOOD hahah!!!
Batu Caves is a legit place of worship, the site being a tourist attraction is besides the point...
Huh? Lol 😂
😁😁😁 not merely a tourist attraction so we also have to respect the worshippers doing their thing...
I love your videos,I am very glad you love and enjoy your time here and the food you have tried so far . I can’t wait to see what you will be trying next time and where else you will be going in around Malaysia.

Good afternoon from Germany 🏴☠️😃👋👋
GOOOOD EVENING FROM MALAYSIA 😁😁😁🙏🏻🤍🇲🇾
@@josieliftsthings Enjoy your stay in Malaysia 🇲🇾 my friend 🍖🥗🍣🍤😃👋
Visit the East Malaysia next, Sarawak & Sabah. We have different kind of foods here and I bet youre going to enjoy them as much as those in West Malaysia.
Just uploaded my Sarawak video :)
it's common to eat like that not only in Malaysia but in SEAsia and India as well
I LOVE it! I am really excited to travel to other places around SEA and India!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻😍
just subscribed to your channel, here another place you must visit in Malaysia:
1) Berjaya Times Square, there has an indoor theme park;
2) Genting and Cameron Highlands, if you wanna feel colder weather;
3) Perhentian Island (most beautiful island in West Malaysia) & Semporna Island (most beautiful island in East Malaysia).
Enjoy and have a nice day!
Wow thank you so much for this!!! Amazing! And thank you so much for subscribing!! 😁😁🥰🥰🙏🏻
I love watching your vlog.
I’m so happy you like it! Thank you! 😁
Your scooping of the rice is fine. Your problem is getting the rice into your mouth. Cup the rice into a small ball and used your thumb to push the food into your mouth. The thumb is the key.
ps: the sweet ball is dessert to be taken after the banana leaf meal.
Papodum is more like a cracker or chip rather than bread.
Yummms! 😋
So good!!!
This trditional south indian way of life they brought here
Are there south Indian people in Malaysia?
Thanks for vlog, i Love traveling
Thank you for watching!!! Me too! 😁😁
@@josieliftsthings yes, i enjoy it
A must see cave.
Yes, another video! Hooray! Good job- thank you!
Maybe one of your followers can help me? Before this gold statue was built, was there a previous one? I think I visited the caves many years ago- I remember the stairs!
When you came were the stairs wooden???
@@josieliftsthings Yes, I think so, don't remember them being multi-coloured.
Lots of Love💕
Have a good time and be safe.
Thank you so much!!
@@josieliftsthings you're most welcome🌷
Hi. That's the basic vegetarian Banana Leaf set that you had. Should have added some fish/chicken/mutton dishes.
The green side dish is spinach whilst the round sweetmeat is ladoo.
Hey josie seems like you guys are having fun in Malaysia ❤ from 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Definitely having fun here like we had fun in the Philippines! My year of travelling has been so amazing! Thank you so much for watching still and supporting my channel!! 🙏🏻😭😁😁😁🥰
Banana leave rice should mix with curry gravy than you can feel the real taste...😋😋👍
Those creamy cubes, I don't know what the vendor told you, but to me it looks like barfi, a sweet made with milk. One bite and you just want to eat more
Hmmm maybe it was that and I didn’t hear him properly 🤔 maybe you’re right haha! Thank you for helping 🙏🏻😁😁
Nice place..
It was beautiful!!
Even if you are eating, you are still cute and pretty.
Thank you so much cecilio 😁😁
Having lived in Malaysia for close to a year now I've realized Banana leaf is massively overrated. If you want some better South Indian food in KL, try Kayra in Bangsar Village or Khan's. They're both loads better than any banana leaf spots.
I actually think we’ve been there!! We were in Bangsar for a month haha! I love that! Thank you for the recommendation!! 😁😁🙏🏻
Kahn's? Is that a German banana leaf restaurant? Maybe its spelled differently. Peace.
maybe... but they're not the same thing. It's like saying Roast Beef is overrated, you should have prime rib instead.
@@cleanenergyinside1921 *Khan's.
@@The-axman And that would be a perfectly valid opinion. I also never said they were the same thing. They all serve food that has its origins in South India, that's about where the similarities end.
Welcome my brother and sister
สวยมาก
You missed adding a fried chicken with your banana leaf rice. Its a must for me.
I’m seeing now this is a mistake! Now I have an excuse to do it again 😉 😂😂🙏🏻
In KL we called it BLR - banana leaf rice
So good 😍😍
Banana leaf food is best eaten with your hand (right). The food tastes better with hand than cutlery.
Indian food
China food
Western food
Thai food
Arab food
Popular at malaysia...
I love them all!!
Me too I go
if you eat with your hands, the thumb is the most important finger. You can find a tutorial on CZcams. if you have mastered it, less mess and no waste... and easier digestion.
That makes so much sense hahahah I definitely thought it was easier than it is 😂😂😂 thank you!
@@josieliftsthings 🤣your welcome
Don't give up i think u can doit eat in your hands 👍👍
Thank you!! 😁😁
Next time you should order chicken or mutton varuval plus dhal when you are in Babana leaf restaurant. Please ask your Indian or Malay friends to show you, how to eat using your hand.
First👍🎉🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
You’re fast thank you so much!!!
Josie you both have to give banana leaf rice a second go because there’s barely anything in it. You gotta order the sides - chicken varuval, chicken 65 and whatnot. Maybe can give this place in Bangsar a try, Sri Nirwana Maju
Hahahah I’m definitely not angry about eating it again!! 😂😂😂 they offered extras but I had no idea what to get so I think I said don’t worry 😂😂😂 you’re so helpful thank you!
Temple Committee people please keep the temple clean... 😊😊😊
Eating rice using hand 101: Use your thumb to push all the food inside your mouth.

Oh I miss you too! What is wrong I hope you are okay 😩😩😩😩 I will message you ❤️❤️
Monkeys here are friendly n used to humans around
Enjoy your day in Brickfields! :) Eat however you want (hand, fork, spoon) we Malaysians don't judge. we've seen it all and we are ok with it as long as you love our food culture.
Thank you!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻😁😁😁
It's time to visit India.
I agree!!
Akak josiee, u shud try fruit tour, u might know king of fruit, n u shud also know about the QUEEN OF FRUIT🌝 N U CAN try dragon fruit or rambutan 😉
Deff a different way to eat!!!
Isn’t it! I wish it was socially acceptable at home! 😂😂
visit Sunway Pyramid
Like this the flavour was added to the food? I am also cannot believe this before but when I tried the food something taste different from what I use to eat? Not just that any food have the leaves taste better? Look around sure you find food with banana leaves
Lord Muru-gen. lol.
Please go to putrajaya and melaka too
Make sure to subscribe if you haven’t so you don’t miss!! You will see 😉 😁🙏🏻
@@josieliftsthings yes, come to Putrajaya. I might be bias bcs i live here(Putrajaya) most of my life… but never wish otherwise bcs putrajaya is really clean and a place to relax I would say. Also IOI (A mall) just become the biggest mall in malaysia if u want to visit too

You should visit India. that too south india
I will definitely be visiting India one day! Especially now that I know how good the food is!!! 😍
Welcome to another Tamil World culture❤❤❤
By statistics Malaysian Indian population are not more than 10% of the approx total 32 mil people.
Nice fact!! 😁😁
Try rendang, nasi kerabu etc
The "spicy" item is mixed pickle
Still good but spicy 😁😂😂
@@josieliftsthings Looks like your tolerance for spiciness is extremely low
@@JaswantSingh-ym9zo it sure is!!
What's up Josie!! 🎉🎊
HEY WALT!!!
THERE YOU ARE!!
@@josieliftsthings I have to catch up. Been on the move this last week.
Did you count the numbers of steps to the top? Oh you have count it
I counted! I think it was just under 300 from memeory hahaha!
The round is a 'laddu', and it eaten before the rice to trigger your taste buds. Hope you washed your hand before eating😃
The surface is too smooth for laddoo. Laddoo has a kind of ribbed surface because it is compressed boondi
Of course 😂😂😂 and for 10 minutes after 😂😂😂
@@JaswantSingh-ym9zo There're different types of 'laddu', 'boondi laddu, 'aval laddu', 'rava laddu', etc., Sometimes, for easy munch for toddlers and elderly the boondi is blended/crushed to make 'boondi laddu'. I think the laddu here has smooth surface because the boondi was blended and made into laddu. czcams.com/video/fSdMNv-Vsps/video.html
