Cessna 310 Engine Troubles: Fixed

Join me for a look at the fix for the engine troubles and slow flying speed of Penny our 1960 Cessna 310 D.
I try to keep things a little interesting by including some flying videos along with lots of pictures and details regarding the airplane and the repair while I talk it through at the hangar.
I would be very interested to hear if anyone else has ever found an issue like this before?

It is amazing what taking the time to hunt for a problem can do... People spend Thousands of dollars in speed mods and Stc's to pick up a couple of mph, and maintenance found over 20 mph!!! Plus it runs better, is safe ... the list goes on... WELL DONE!

Why the switch from G5 to AV30?

I have installed the AV30 so that I can operate the tailbeaconx and get ADS-B out into the aircraft that will meet the upcoming Canadian mandate.
