    I've been making guitars inspired by my favorite guitar players guitars ,this is my tribute to steve vais passion and warfare guitar .
    I didn't realize till I started to build it that the cover guitar was a 7 string and didn't have the monkey grip ! But of course I had to have one and also add the lionsclaw on the floyd .
    I've seen people hand carving the lionsclaw but I didn't have a carving chisel to do that and didn't want to buy one ! So I used what I had and brought a old router back to life! And made this jig ,which turned out better than I had expected .
    The guitar is for me so it's built to my specs with my preferred pickup configuration which is why it's a tribute not a replica

    This is great. My man, do you make necks? There is nobody that I can find offering maple Jem necks, with pyramid inlays and I'd really love to replace my vine neck with pyramids.
