I believe S3 of Expanse is one of the best seasons of any tv show ever.
Season 3 is my fav season, you are in for a ride.
It's probably the strongest season, objectively speaking. It's just brilliant television.
When Team ABC were leaving Earth, remember Cotyar was slightly delayed. He said he was making sure their luggage was aboard...he meant Bobbie's armor.

I like how the first episode of each season/arc keeps the tension building up to what comes next while still being a relative cooldown from the previous finale. This time we're out of the deadly encounter with the hybrid but facing the beginning of a war while the Protomolecule studies its very own real-life schematic of the Arboghast, so to speak.
The scene where Holden smashes the coffee maker will never not be funny though. That man sure does love his brew!
You are easily my favourite Expanse reactor: smart, honest, and with a great cat. I can't wait for the next ep.This season vies with the fourth as the best of the series to me. (And everyone thirsts over Amos; just let it happen!)

Are you sure you have Errinwright pegged correctly? From his point of view he's doing the right thing: he really does believe that Mars is planning an eventual war with Earth, and the JP Mao betrayed him and Earth.
I am glad that you are enjoying this show, it excels in so many ways. That little bit of protomolecule on the Roci couldn't possibly be important, could it? Or the coffee maker... surely nothing significant can come from its demise? I love how the show keeps us guessing, but does not hit us with pointless twists that come out of nowhere; I never felt the show 'jumped the shark'.
Can't wait for the rest of this amazing season!
FYI: whenever you have a show based on a book series, there are always differences but in the case of the protomolecule disassembling the Arboghast, it happened exactly as it was described in the book.

I've never heard/seen it confirmed but I wouldn't be surprised if they reused the animation skeleton for both the protomolecule hybrid on the outside of the Roci and Bobbie on the outside of the yacht. The limb movements always struck me as so similar and it would be a sensible cost saving in the show's effects budget.
I believe both were motion capture by our very own Kenzo (Elias Toufexis). Whether or not they used the same data from one set of takes or not, I do not know.
