@@RetrofitSourceCan you retrofit those into some Cobalt SS or Elantra headlights? How much do you charge? Are Panasonic/Matsushita still the best Ballast?
Don’t know what gen Elantra headlights you want to retrofit but the Cobalt SS Having a dual filament bulb means the MLED 2.0 is made for setups like what the cobalt reflector uses. Those threads on the back of the MLED slide through the bulb hole on the Cobalt reflectors and then the nut goes on the back side of the housing to sandwich them together. The hardest part is removing the Lens and keeping everything clean before reassembly. But you could definitely do it yourself, very do able by yourself with some tools. Heat gun, some retro rubber, a set of shrouds to finish off the look over the projector, and wiring it up would be simple too. Just make sure to use new or at least have the lenses restored by someone knowledgeable who uses wet sanding and solvent coatings to give some UV protection for 6months to a year in some cases. As for the ballasts I’m sure those OEM’s are still great, but the Morimoto, GTR, and even NHK Fast Start ballasts are all very quick starting and very reliable ballasts. I still install a lot of HID’s so I have a lot of experience with them.
Would SURE LOVE A RETROFIT VIDEO ON A 1998-2002 LINCOLN TOWN CAR!!!!!!! So Far I have seen ZERO VIDEOS ON IT!!!! DO that And y'all have another customer willing to buy better lights!
