Here's a trick I use for memorization, and I think he uses this. Starting with the first object to be remembered, visualize it, and/or use a name for it, then for the next object include them both in the same image. This way the objects become associated within the brain, instead of trying to make a new image for each object. A very intelligent person could see complex equations, settings or whatever, all within a single image. The mind is amazing.
There is an NLP technique for that. Imagine the scene where you are doing the ugly/embarrassing things and then try to turn the brightness of that picture up slower and slower until the whole image becomes a blank white canvas. Practice that several times. That is how the memory champs also clear their memories of pointless number sequences. They refer to it as "letting the sun light in" or "opening the windows of the memory temples".
Türkçe çevirisi (çeviri için Ömer Tarık Koç'a teşekkürler) : (00:38-00:56) Hafıza yarışmalarına katılma konusunda beni motive eden şey büyükannemin aizheimer hastası olması.
I’ve been researching memory techniques and only see how to memorize numbers. How do I memorize foreign words for language and pull them from my memory instantly?
There is an amazing Tedx talk about learning foreign language using the same techniques. And I tried it, it works magnificently. Give it a search u will find it on CZcams.
he can memorize numbers. ok, but can he memorize words? to remember a number he has to associate the number with a person or thing, so essentially he needs to remember 2 or 3 things for one number. doesnt that seem harder?
Actually it's the exact opposite. There's a system called the major system in which you basically associate numbers with letters, create words and as he said store them

Why does the title say "trick his brain"
Cause why not
See Dominic O brien Book "U can have an amazing memory" for answer.

he can memorize numbers. ok, but can he memorize words?
to remember a number he has to associate the number with a person or thing, so essentially he needs to remember 2 or 3 things for one number. doesnt that seem harder?
Actually, he has 2 or 3 numbers per thing.
Memorizing words is even easier.
ElectricBlue Lucifer you can write numbers as words though
Yes, its even one of topics in memory chanpionship
Actually it's the exact opposite. There's a system called the major system in which you basically associate numbers with letters, create words and as he said store them

JulianaBraziliana Yes. But not only one palace. Most champions use a lot of palaces
Hope he doesn't get a stroke
Nope. Stroke happens to those who don't use their brains
@@alfredhitchcock45 not true.
Maybe he could come up with a technique to forget also. I have some really ugly girlfriends that I did some really ugly things with.
NLP can help you with that
Wrinkles on the forehead mean intelligents.
Tricking his brain? I don’t agree with that characterization at all.
