They should have moved it back to the manufacturer and just not bought it. 😂

Although They fit Standard plans, store Can choose what or where to put it since sometime stores may deviate from standard layouts. not like corporate is there to watch everything and can often explain why something is not where it supposed to be assuming the suit even Knows about it. usually they dont. Used to work for walgreens myself and did inventory.
We had 1 section that the store manager gotten that was exclusively foreign product that walgreens Does sell but only in certain areas. This is an example of the stores being able to deviate from standard layouts.
They cant Just get rid of the "Pride" merch but they can just stuff it somewhere out of the way

I'm a gay man in my early 60's, and I hate how woke activists ruin everything they touch. For many years I enjoyed what used to be called the Gay Pride Parade (before the demands of "inclusivity" erased the "Gay" part). It was one weekend a year, with a week-long lead up if you lived in a place like New York. But now it's a whole month, and local Pride Parades are peppered across the entire calendar. Woke activists deliberately go too far, as all they know how to do is provocation in the service of discord.
As a guy who's only a few years past 30 (Christ am I that old already?) I can remember when Pride was one weekend at the end of June with a week-long lead up as well (Seattlite here). That was happening not even 14 years ago. Between Pride expanding all the way to the start of June and suddenly all these new LGBTQ 'awareness' holidays being promoted by corporations in the last couple years, it definitely feels like the woke activists indulged in far too much mission creep and ruined it for everyone else. They should have taken the W when the West started legalizing gay marriage (or turned their attention to the ultra-conservative countries in Africa/the Middle East and tried to get them to at least treat gays like human beings), but instead they kept stomping on the West and demanding more.
I'd like to go back to the Gay Pride Parade mindset of 14 years ago when it was just a weekend/week leading up to it. It seemed... more organized/less prone to the insanity we see in the parades these days.

I'm not gay. But one of my co-workers (who's lesbian) absolutely hates pride month. She's mentioned that a few times and explained that she'd rather go to one of the older pride parades than the current ones.
We both work retail and, according to her, working retail opened her eyes to how things actually are for people who are not gay. And the vitriol we get when we don't support the rainbow group.

I get the sense this is less them abandoning anything and more then running silent in hopes that people will calm down about it so they can resume business as usual next year (or the year after, at most). With BRIDGE revving up, now's not the time to get complacent on this.
Can confirm this. I know a company that always smacked you in the face with pride garbage in the past. This year, they kept it discreet with just a small link. They are still donating money from purchases to GLAAD and just don't tell you, which is why they get no money from me in June.
Shame is the sickness, pride is symptom, humility is the cure, yet they refuse it.
It's quieter but at the same time the activists are still pushing it more than ever before in all forms that are available to them. This should have never been a month, it started as a day and it should return to be a day and nothing more. I actually don't mind a weekend or a week. A day isn't really long enough for a proper celebration. The issue i have is more that it's become an outlet to normalise and glorify kink and fetish. Keep them out of the public view.

Digital Extreme, the very canadian devs of Warframe still pulled the pride shit this month, they even made it an ingame event, even after the massive backlash they got last year about it.
That helped me clear some space on my hard drive.

This is the problem. I've got nothing against lgbt people. It's when those people call me a bad person simply because I'm not completely on board with every single little thing they do that is turning me away. Now obviously not every lgbt person is like this but it's a concerningly large number.

I've been watching the enthusiasm for the pride month event in warframe die bit by bit every year. This time people were done, the announcement post for the event is ratio'd into the negative and the vast majority of comments are people clowning on it. They even had to lock comments, really was a beautiful thing to see.

Bruh you uavent looked at Runescape, they went full bore on the pride bullshit in their game and they have "characters" in places representing the various flags, and upon logging in to the game it says "Happy pride" its getting annoying.

I have a few friends who are gay or bi. They never jjoined the rainbow club and outright dispise it. The gay couple also never felt more unsafe thanks to the pushback thats now showing up, now outright fearing to show in public that that theyre gay for example. THe rainbow maffia is outright hurting the people they claim to stand for at this point and its sad to see.

Hey, trans guy here. There’s a HUGE rift forming in the LGBT community between the mostly normal people who think the plot has been lost and the “new wave” folks (gen Z mostly, some millennials).
We don’t want explicit shirts and rainbow paraphernalia and for people to be walking around exposed at parades and stuff. We just want to be treated like normal people and have equal rights and protections.

Where I live pride is being very heavily celebrated, a lot of pride flags being flown in front of major corporations ie, Ford Motor Company, Dodge, city buildings etc.

Remember, this isn't the corporations changing their minds on this stuff. It was always cynical on their part, they never cared about anything to begin with, but what this shows is that the bottom line is being affected and so they're pulling the plug. If anything, that's the win here, it shows that public dissatisfaction with progressivism isn't some "fringe minority" it's a sizable enough slice of the market demographic to cause a change in marketing strategy.
