- The Waldorf Blofeld has some amazing built-in filters. Yes, plural, it has two!
Each filter also has its own overdrive circuit that ranges from subtle, to total annihilation. Also check out the Comb filters, if you truly want to create some mad sounds.

Thanks for these videos. Two questions, if I may: 1. in multi-mode, is it possible to control different parts via an external sequencer i.e. via different MIDI channels? 2. I've heard it's a pain to use the library software, install sound packs etc. Supposedly you can't just add things to the synth; you have to reinstate the entire library, or something. Is this your experience?
Yes you can send 16 different MIDI channels if you want.
I've used the Blox editor before and that worked great. For loading samples, I've yet to do that myself, but you could be right about that, I guess it takes a while.
I'm planning a new video about multimode and see if I can make a short one about loading samples.

I own a Blofeld, but have to say that the user interface is the worst I‘ve ever seen 😅
