I listened to them a while back for the first time.. and I mean within the last few months.. went from an Ozzy track they did that I found by accident and Could. Not. Stop. Listening. to. them. I could not get it through my head how this band of young kids was so damned good and I'd never heard of them nor had anyone else around me. Stunning. This song, IMO, is an INSTANT CLASSIC. I'm a tremendous fan of Billy Joel. Between this and Scenes from an Italian restaraunt, gimme this twice with an extra side of omg. It took me 3-4 days of constant listening, thinking 'this is a fluke.. I'm missing something or hyping'.. but, no. Every time I pulled up another video it was better than the last.. again, stunned. How???!!! After hearing Sail away and 7 Nation army.. I was not just done (as in cooked through), I was hooked. Bought their entire damned discography including the vinyl and it's the happiest music purchase I've made in a year at least.. (rubbing up against my Fallout LP collection and that's dangerous). Listen to all their stuff.. you're already a fan.. can tell it in your review. You've been 'Fanged'. So check your email, I'm proposing a gift.

I believe that they aren’t more well known is because they are independent. They haven’t signed to a label by design. They want control over their music. They are also the most down to earth and kindest group of people I have had the honor of meeting.

Corporate radio has ruined American music. If we still had independent radio stations, Liliac and a lot of Japanese bands would be dominating the air waves.

Think the Fangs told you that they are totally Independent. Some lables have put monkey wrenched their venues and don't like s band getting much traction. I love this one because while they were recording Queen of Hearts album, they promised a ballad. This was it. And it's truly a family effort. The father wrote the string parts. The choir was described as friends and Fangs. Some from the Santa Monica pier days. Just imagine the cost to do this video on their own in crazy California prices. The beach was in Orange county. They first wanted a different beach, however it was too costly. Papa Liliac knew someone that donated the beach. They pulled out all the stops to make a beautiful video. Do my favorite on the album. Dear Father. Fantastic video. To get a feel for their Santa Monica busking on the pier, watch Crazy Train. See how they worked so hard in the hot California sun. Great reaction my friend. Peace. Stay safe. God Speed. FANG 4 LIFE! RORH 🤘 🦇

Abigail looks like she's taking a break from The Night's Watch to come and drum with her family. Incidentally, she went live on Facebook and streamed the opening to a show for about a half hour. She's damn good, but she has such a cute personality, too. Speaking of Facebook, they did a live right around Christmas a year or two ago where the father said they were looking for a second guitarist to help fill out the live sound. The requirements were understandable but a bit high; I think you had to be at Sam's skill level, be in the age range of the three older siblings, I think they wanted a guy, had to be able to sing, had to know the secret to cold fusion . . . I think they gave up that plan since it's been so long.
I heard that this song is about their move from California to Georgia, but I think that was from the comments, not from the band themselves. I know they did move to Georgia right around this time, so it's plausible.

Liliac is another great band. As others have mentioned radio stations are nothing but pawns of record companies so most don't play independent bands like Liliac or even The Warning until they were signed. Liliac's original music is amazing, they are great songwriters and musicians and their covers are just on another level, though i really do wish thy would bring out more original music, although I hear they are soon releasing a new album. Liliac are 100% independent and it really is a shame that commercial radio station don't give more time to this and other amazing independent bands.

Another song you may want to check out off of their 13 song LP " Queen Of Hearts" is "Mystery" they were lucky enough to be able to film the video in front of the "Georgia Guidestones" if you don't know what they are until they became a political issue and someone tried to blow them up. This is my favourite Liliac original song and once again the video was made by themselves for very l title money on a beach in California (the site wasn't closed down) the reason they aren't on the radio is because they are fiercely independent and the radio stations are a pay for play situation regardless of denials to that effect . They have millions of fans worldwide and some of their songs have over 10 million views , you have to react to some of their tribute covers which are all spectacular and in a lot of cases are better than the original , a case in point is their latest tribute cover of Whitestripes SEVEN NATION ARMY which is definitely better than the original , but please react to anything from their playlist its all amazing .
