even in this video he lost the ball about 3-4 times, from his feet. A couple of other times he did maintain the ball but then made a bad pass. This sums up so far his career, inconsistent. Even within the same game, he could make an amazing move but then delay and make attacks be stuck. Btw, same for Joao Felix.
A lot Dutch people dislike him Van Dijk and Wijnaldum because they and the entire team spoke out against racism, but they specifically picked them out of it, for obvious reasons. After that for years now they are called overrated by Dutch people.

Ngl he is great in tight spaces but once he plays that through ball he will move towards the goal in a straight line expecting the ball to feet, en he could have made the near post run in 0:35 but its fine
I am Dutch and probably wouldnt even select this guy for our national team. He is way to inconsistent. Could be a genius but is most likely to be hindering the team. He is a baller, but he has a too big ego.
Hahahaha jij bent gek. Hij is de derde topscorer allertijden van het Nederlands elftal. Hij speelt altijd goed voor ons. Zijn ego heeft niets te maken met zijn kwaliteit dus hou je bek. Hij is onze beste spits en niemand is beter dan hem.
I am Dutch as well and some people just don't understand how important Memphis is with his runs and plays. Yes he could be more consistent but the threat is always there when he plays!
31% of all goals made by the Netherlands in the past 8 years are either scored or assisted by Memphis and if we'd add keypasses, I'm fairly sure its going to be 52%-56% at least. Only Mbappe, Messi and Haaland have better goal contributions for their nation in the same time period
I'm Atleti fan and you must be kidding with this...Memphis all he does is lose balls...idk which one is worse him or Correa...perfect example of yt highlights cant define a player's quality...I think Simeone hates Memphis because of how many balls he losses...

prime ronaldo is a stretch but yes he's really good when he's locked in
What Ronaldo you talking about
he is a strong player but is not elite. not even on his best day.

Such an incredible player. A pass through United and an ACL robbed us of a monster, but he's still there when he's the expected to be the main man
Yeah, Euro 2024 is also on it's way... How will he perform?
He used to be crazy fast
@@Just_JamesMI’m not sure, I don’t think he will make headlines but he’s better than any other winger they’ve got
He could become netherlands all time top scorer there
That trip to Africa Impoved his ball control😂😂😂
Yeah he was training like crazy everyday in Ghana
Memphis is a whole MOOOD
Techy and powerful. Really put in the work during preseason and it shows
What a player he is on his day
The same thing is with Luiz Diaz😁 , he has a magnet in his feet.
I have no idea why they are not talking about Memphis
They are, thats why he has played for barca and atletico.
Very strong on the ball

He is world class.
Very tempting set of skills this gentleman has
Jordan Ayew is like this too - a genuinely underrated player
Meanwhile Dutch people hate him because he wears hats sometimes.
they only like when he is playing good otherwise he is just an another black guy
He gets paid for national team games and lives in the tattoo parlor. Waste of time and energy. And yes, I criticize all players for the nonsense.
no, dutch people dislike him because he said some hilarious braindead stuff in the past. He is a good player, but the IQ and EQ of a 10y old.
