Steve, that little quiet piece to the camera about Toby watching these videos back? Resonated with me. My parents never took me camping. I discovered it when my eldest turned 10 and wanted to go camping with friends for her birthday. I became addicted! She’s 22 next week and I’m taking her and her BFF camping because that’s what she wanted to do. The “I hope he does this with his kids”? 100% with you brother………

I've been taking my daughter since she was 6, and now she's 18 and still coming camping with me. My step daughter's son is 7 and loves it too.
Hey steve ive just bought a y62 and come across this page because of it. This episode has given me so much respect for you and what you have going on. Im proud just to have watched this ey. I only get to spend 50% of my time with the kids and i try to get them out as much as i can like this to appreciate each other without distractions. Killer job bud.

One of the best things my wife and I did was taking our children out in our caravan, now my son goes camping with his girlfriend in their swag
I look forward to being able to take both kids with me once pipers old enough.
I’m hopeful that Toby and Piper grow up in a similar lifestyle because I think it keeps kids out of the wrong crowds

My boy turns 14 tomorrow and it seems like just yesterday he was the size of your little guy.
Life gets in the way too often as they get older, so keep making time and enjoy the simple things like camping and 4wding.
Nice video. Brings back memories of our trip couple of years ago. We went with a Tag along 4wd tour by Great Divide Tours. Trailers were not allowed in our group, though they ran another group simultaneously with trailers by easier track routing.

Loved it mate. So good to see you & Toby out there. I love how you said about him watching them back in years to come as well, bring back all those great memories for him and even when he has kids it wold be great to show them. I remember spending time out in the bush when I was a kid and Mum was with WIRES or doing bush walks with my school and Mum would join in to help keep an eye on us brats. I wish we had photos or something from back then as it was things like that which cemented my passion for the out doors & love for this country.

Shits me picking up some else's rubbish in the fire place glass ,cans,,it's not that hard to put a few rubbish bags in take your crap out don't be so lazy clean it up
I myself have been camping now for 53 years started with my farther spent many years getting around in old landrovers first drove one when I was 5 or 6 started using guns at the age of 7 all my life I've been in the bush beaches four wheel drives motorbikes and I'm not far off 59 my dad is 23 years older than myself before here got to old I took him and my family camping a couple of times now he can't my three children have camped out before the could walk I've taken them hunting and fishing their age group is now 24 20 and 18 they all have 4x4s and motorbikes and we still camp together and their plans were to do this for the rest of their lives and this gruberment can get stuffed
200 series vs patrol.. ( kitted 200 series here ) i like the patrols, id go one tomoz if i had the cash. whats your opinion now having both? Glen.
Each are very different beast.
I’d say for offroad abilities the 62 has it.
But build quality the 200 has it.
@@Australian4x4Adventures understand 100%. horses for courses i believe. you set up for your self, you make your self happy, along the way, we all pick up tid bits that may or may not help. EG, last year mate gave me foldable camp grill for my 50th, i use heat beads in it... id not gone out and bought it, but does it cook a mean steak!!
