Easy Nonstop Summer Bluegill - Teaching Kids Ultralight Fishing

- In this video, I go fishing with my family on Father’s Day! All ages were able to have a good time ultralight fishing with a few tweaks! Have a great weekend and 4th of July!
Very light line and a very light jig head is critical for getting the finicky bites. 2 pound line allows easy casting and increased sensitivity. The 1/64oz jigheads allow the bull bluegill to suck up and eat the presentation with less suspicion.
Children should have a slightly heavier setup to learn on. But it was nice to see the kids wrangling the fish on 2 pound line. If they can do it, anyone can!

Catching those bluegills on ultralight gear looks so fun. It's great getting the kids involved.
That's also a great way to spend time with your father!
I had a blast, thank you for watching brother! Look forward to your next vid
Man them gills are monsters! Having the kids out there is awesome and teaching them to fish at a young age is awesome! Thanks for sharing your adventure out fishing and great information giving! 🎣👍💯🐟
Much appreciated brother, hope you have a great weekend and 4th of July. If anybody can get an independence crappie it’s you!
Great video! Putting an ultralight in a kids hand with a worm is such a great way to get them into the action. Great job getting those kiddo's into the game. Love it!
Most definitely! Thank you for watching!
Always fun to see the kids involved and catching them! Caught some solid sunfish, nice job!
Most definitely! Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching!
Gotta love the bluegill spawn. You were catching some good ones. Great gift for your dad, then to get the kids involved and catching them on the ultralight, thats just awesome!
Thanks partner I really appreciate it! Hope to see some good catches from you soon!!
That was awesome teaching the kids to fish.
Nice present for you dad and he caught some nice bluegills.
Love that ultra light fishing. One of these days I'll get brave and put some 2 lb line on.
Haha thanks man!! Get some trilene smooth casting 2lb to start. I use a lot of varvivas high end line now! World of difference
Good Stuff Ultralight, awesome to get the kids involved, nice reel and pole for your father’s - way to hook em up👊🎣👍
Thanks! And thanks for watching, it was wonderful. Hope you have a great weekend!
That was awesome, great way to get the kids involved
Thanks man I really appreciate it! Have a great weekend 😎👍
Good times then and now, way to get everyone involved.
Awesome times, thanks for watching!
Perfect for ultralight fishing
Definitely!
Pictures in the beginning were cool! Yall got some bigguns back in the day!
Love looking back on them and reflecting on the great memories. Thanks man!
Thx for showing me the dawia presso ags I have mean presso set-up thx 2 u
You’re welcome man thanks for the comment and support! I have 10 more rods im reviewing soon. 4 bass, 6 UL!
What full ultra light setup would you use for small spotted bass and large mouths (line, reel and rod) no budget. Considering the Stella 1k, yamagablanks 67 blue current nano, no idea what line or test for fun drag screaming action.
That combo is perfect for what you mentioned. Add some 4lb varvivas nylon (mono) line and you’ll be killing it!
@@TheUltralightLife sweet. Now to decide if I want the Stella 1k in the jdm sspg or the US regular 1k which has a much deeper spool but costs more
@@TheUltralightLife is there a varivas you prefer? They have 500 models of line lol
@@saleen12 haha you’re right, super trout advanced is a good all around one
@@saleen12 I would go jdm wit the shallower spool unless you absolutely need more line for a potential salt water fish
1:54 is that you or Jokic?
😂😂😂
Mag benta kayo sa filipins ng fishing rod
