  • Shiso has an amazing minty, herby fragrance and can be made into a beautiful vibrant magenta juice.
Mix with sparkling water for a refreshing drink or add a splash to your cocktail. The concentrate can also be used to drizzle of yogurt, fruit, and more (use your imagination)!

Perfect for summer! i just made another batch of this - this time, I mixed the shiso juice with some red dragonfruit juice. It was also so delicious!

Beautiful video! Very well done. I can't wait to make some delicious shiso juice like I had in Japan! I grew shiso this year and will have a harvest soon!!! 🥰❤❤❤

My wife is Japanese and she made some of this last Summer. The color was absolutely beautiful and the taste was magnificent! Unfortunately, I don't know if our shiso plants are going to grow this Summer as she had our son dig up the garden where she previously had grown it.

Is the green shiso equally good for this drink?

Interesting... I wonder what this infusion tastes like.

Surprisingly fruity, zesty, and sweet. The flavor of shiso is almost indescribable. It is very unique, but I would definitely classify its flavor in the "fruit" category.

How long it can last in refrigerator?

    • @PatrickYan

You can keep it for a while because there is a lot of sugar. Use a clean spoon to scoop it out.

Watching closely I'd say perilla (shiso) leaves simmered in water, strain, saving water. Add sugar and some citric acid and mix well.
