    Denise.... you put the PRO in PROject !! I love this technique. Fantastic results. You are an excellent “teacher”. I found you through Christy James when you transformed the bust into a head planter, and I was hooked !! Keep up the inspirational transformations (please and thank you) 🥰🥰

    Wow very beautiful. I have an old antique mirror that is in the garage gathering dust for the last 3 years. I think it would look amazing if I follow your instructions in this video and give it a new lease of life. Thank you for sharing this beautiful tutorial. Sending you blessings from Toronto, Canada.

      @@SalvagedInspirationsThank you kindly my dear. I'm glad to find out you are a fellow Canadian. Hope you have lots of projects to keep you busy during the lock down. By the way, I brought the mirror inside and it is such a beautiful piece that my husband won't let me antique it. He said, it will be ruined. So there goes that project. I have to look for something else to keep me busy. I'm heading over to your blog for some inspiration. Please keep up the excellent work. Cheers :)

    I seen some transfer that you don't flip it over you just take it and put the sticky side up and just go and scrape over it does this last for a long time or what do you have to put on it to keep it like for a long time

    I am always so impressed with your vision and creativity. I have a question regarding adhering the image. After the back of the mirror is cleaned and the coating removed. Is it possible to adhere the transfer behind the glass then secure it? Thank you so much for your answer.

    I know you don't need to do it on the mirror what about on woodwork do you need to seal it with anything we can last for a long time

      I used bleach and water to antique the mirror Saadia. Super easy and something we all have at home. Here's the link to the post salvagedinspirations.com/diy-antiqued-mirror-and-how-to-apply-prima-transfers/

    So you dont have to put anything over it? Cleaners don't mess with the transfer image?

    • @SalvagedInspirations
      @SalvagedInspirations  Před 4 lety

      The mirror is not sealed with anything. I don't use windex /cleaners on it tho. I give it a dusting every now and then with a soft cloth or swifter cloth..

    When you put it on wood furniture do you apply sealer or wax before applying it? Also where did you get the applicator to rub it on?

    • @SalvagedInspirations
      @SalvagedInspirations  Před 5 lety +2

      Hi Jeanine! When I apply the transfer onto wood furniture I seal/wax after the transfer is applied.. not before. The applicator comes with the transfers :)

    That’s fine, but you didn’t describe how to “prep” the surface.

  • @jeannettedaughtry1989

    Takes too long with that tool.
