Thats exactly how I smooth the paint.

Thank you so much for this! My husband just got his grandmother's dining table and chairs from storage. When I started to get them cleaned up, the chairs have some mold in the wood grain. It's where the headrest is, that area on the back of the chair. Since his grandmother has now passed, this broke his heart and made him tear up a little. This was the one thing he'd specifically requested. His oldest memory with her was sitting at this table, waiting for her cookies. And all the years and years of meals when he'd visit, or coffee with her as an adult. It goes on and on, the memories. I told him I would do any and everything that I possibly can to get them back to a safe and working order. This is a great starting point. Also, thank you. I appreciate your channel and all of the little tips and tricks that you've shared. A lot of influencers tend to forget that we're all just humans. You never knock or belittle anyone for not knowing something and you're fully aware that common sense things change from region to region around the country. Use a paint you don’t have to use primer.and all that sanding. Blackberry is the best.

Hi Denise! Since Im in Brazil and we dont have all the wonderful products I usually see used in flipping furniture in us and uk,. Is this paint oil (solvent) or water based? Here our water based paints such as Sherwin williams, (to mention one brand you can relate to,) sometimes ask for a 2 coat for perfect coverage - shall we use the foam roller over both paint coats or only over the last one? Also, is the top coat water based or solvent based? t.i.a. Cristina

Great tips! I've actually never used a carbide scraper, so im excited to try that out! I hate using chemical strippers and sanding takes forever. On a side note, your laugh is contagious :) Every time you laughed, I found myself grinning at my phone screen haha. Thanks for the video!

Can I put oil base dark walnut stain on top of no pain gel stain white ?

I primed an antique desk and China cabinet in Kilz premium 3 and can see bleed through. Can I put this on top of that primer or do I have to sand the other off first?
