I switched from a Klein meter to a Fieldpiece and couldn't be happier. You can't see shit on the Klein on a bright day and the FP also comes with that magnetic hook.

Them kings valves will do it to them, mike the reason the trades will never be great again is because ppl are limited to one part of the field, it’s amazing how many ppl don’t know about king valves. I work with a new guy who strictly does furnace installations, nothing else. It’s a longshot to get the trades to be great again!

We call such valves with service port closed as backseated with cracked and then front seated positions. King valves are for liquid supply line out of recievers

Mike you should buy a warehouse full of 410A tanks before next year to make huge profits margins for the next decade as customers will still need it and you can triple its price.

They still will be manufacturing 410A next year and probably for the rest of the decade. They will stop manufacturing 410A units as of January 1, 2025

King valves on condenser
I was just at my local johnstone supply, and they told me that bosch is midea. Is that true?? If so, let's go carrier, not bosch

@@Samlol23_drrich It's called "cracked" because it opens the valve service ports and the system simultaneously. "Backseat" closes off the ports only. "Frontseat" closes the system and ports.

Mikey recently been noticing on that style carrier unit that the Fan gaurd/grill have been cracking at the cond fan motor bolts under the cap. Fyi
They had a big problem with them. Especially in the areas where you see snow or ice .

You opened the valves with no schraders so no Vac was pulled on Lineset and Evap?

And capacitor was installed upside down.
That klein meter is a piece of crap tbh...mine stopped taking amp readings, I opened it up...2 loose wires. Brand new.

King valves suck
It’s rated for 70 but you have plus or minus 6% so that would put you at a min of 65.8 and you picked up 66.2…. Granted thats kinda close you didn’t even factor in the 6% you just subtracted your reading from 70…. Which was still wrong b/c he said it was 65 which it wasn’t it was 66.2 Jesus you guys are hacks always bull shitting to charge the customer more
Far from accurate but whatever you say I don’t replace caps on the hottest days of the summer because of that exact reason. May God have mercy on your clients.
