Great little video. I place a rag/towel in the intake hose then use compressed air. Straight from Kubota, blow the air filter out and hold it up to a light source. If you can see light through the filter it's good for reuse. Otherwise, replacement is necessary.
I imagine you inspect the exterior Air Cleaner Housing and the exterior End Cap prior to running the machine or maybe after each use. But how frequent do you inspect and clean the interior of the End Cap and the interior of the Air Cleaner Housing?
I’m not sure exactly the part your talking about, but I service the outside air filter every year (replace and clean plastic holder). I inspect the inside air filter every year but I have only replaced it once so far.

Great reminder not to use compressed air on this job! Thinking about now, it's obvious; but I bet I would have done it out of habit.
