Your tip about not preparing the binding first by ironing is great advice. So many times i end up struggling to get it to cover the stitch line. Thank you!
@Landen Jesiah Is it an app?

Love Minki Kim's tutorials! She is so thorough, gives great tips and she is so sweet! Thank you Fat Quarter Shop for having her as your guest!
WOW!!!! It looks very complicated and overwhelming to make, but when you see the step by step and the way she explains it, it's really not! Please please please, more tutorials, because I follow better with a video than with written patterns, and y'all are awesome at making the complicated ones easy. Please and thank you!!!
I followed this tutorial step by step to make a reversible Rubble (Paw Patrol) tote bag for my great niece. More Minky Kim, please!! I was able to understand every step, and she is soooo personable and sweet! I wish there were an option for photos so we could share. Thank you, Minky Kim and Fat Quarter Shop, for a great tutorial!
Minke Kim’s workmanship is astonishing! Thank you for sharing her on your popular CZcams channel.
Esos consejos de costura son estupendos. Claro que tu nivel es extraordinario. Tú costura es perfecta.
Definitely the 1D in the beginning, then the 57D dual feed presser feet were used. The walking foot would be a good idea for the thicker parts and quilting 👍
I was wondering if using the walking foot would be a good use,
Loved seeing the Bernina in action. More tutorials like this please💕
Isn't Minki is just the best? :) Such a sweet pattern, and the fabric line is so cute! Thanks for the tutorial!
Thats adorable. You are very thorough. The fabric is precious too.
I just like how you describe and take your time with every detail you are very easy to follow with each project Thank You
Love the bag! I love the step by step tutorial too. Sometimes written directions confuse me. Keep the videos coming, gonna be quarantined here in NC for 30 more days at least! Lots of time to use all my fabric! 💕🌼🌷
I really enjoy your tutorials, Minki. Thank you!
This is such a beautiful tote bag! Thanks for the wonderful tutorial! You are so talented Minki! 👏🧵✂️
I like the idea of using the metal studs for the handles. Great video!
Just love how Minki Kim works. So methodical. A real inspiration when I’m sewing 🧵🪡❤️
I love Minki’s tutorials!!
Thanks for the tutorial! When I do machine binding, I use 1/4" double sided washable tape. That really makes for a nice clean binding because you can get right up to the binding sew line.
Gorgeous bag! Thank you for sharing Minki.

I know this doesn’t relate to her project but I just love her pink nail polish. It goes with her fabric line.
I have just purchased this fabric from joining an Australian group love and hugs by Natalie bird. I've done a fairy quilt of hers. I was wondering what I was going to use it for must have been dreaming of going to a cafe while we have been in isolation in Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺. Now I know what I'm going to make thanks for posting all these lovely videos and I love the use of the Bernina and how easy the quilting is

You need a ByAnnie stiletto!
You can save some steps and money by using Pellon Flex-Foam 2-Sided Fusible Stabilizer instead of Soft & Stable. You make the sandwich and iron, no need to pin or clip, fabric will not wrinkle or shift!
At 5:35 you discuss quilting the crosshatch style, do you have any other tips for helping the fabric to NOT crinkle please ?
Wonderful making of tote bag . I want to try one. Will you be able to tell how to do zip for this bag ? Thank you
Hello Dr Cheems Superfood Odyssey! We have a tutorial available here: czcams.com/video/Y6HSwnf2jU0/video.html
Did you change the placement of the handles during the course of the video? Maybe 3” to 5” from the outside edge?
I love thisssss, where can I get that fabric that has the cute houses on it?
Hello April! That fabric is from the Moments collection by Minki Kim which is no longer available. You can try checking eBay.
Is your foundation layer Bosal? Thank you for your detailed tutorial
Hello Brenda! Our foundation paper is made with paper. Minki Kim used Soft and Stable batting - www.fatquartershop.com/by-annie-soft-and-stable-white-project-pack
@@FatQuarterShopTX Awesome. I will wait for it to come back in stock after the holidays
We will have more later this month!

What pressure foot are you using when you are sewing the binding on?
Hello Diane! We recommend adding binding with a walking foot if you have one. But you can also use a regular open toe foot.

What kind of fabric do you use?
Hello Gauri! You can find Minki Kim's fabric here: www.fatquartershop.com/minki-kim-riley-blake-fabric
I need pockets, can you include pockets in instructions?
Hello, may I ask you what sewing foot (number) are you using for this work? I have the same sewing machine as you. Thank you 🙏🏻 😊
Hello Malu! Minki Kim used a walking foot that came with her machine.
Looks like the 57D to me.
Definitely the 1D in the beginning, then the 57D dual feed presser feet were used. The walking foot would be a good idea 👍

Just wondering if you quilt and it gets wrinkly why is that?
Hello Jodie! If the top is not flush with the batting, it will wrinkle and pucker during quilting. For instance, if you're quilting on a home machine where you roll it up, you may need to re-adjust and smooth it out as you go along. We have lots of videos showing quilting on a home sewing machine.
