    block and head machined, bored to 89.5mm
    wiseco 9:1 compression pistons
    Cometic metal headgasket
    ARP head studs and main studs
    ISR RS3871 Turbo
    ISR intercooler
    Hallman boost controller
    White bunny competition clutch

    Yeah, definitely the lifters that needed to settle a little bit, had the same result with my 2JZ that I recently rebuilt. Glad you're all up and running man, well done.

    Yeah 100% the noise was the lifters , even when you hear that noise doesn't mean your engine is going to blow up . It was just because there was air in the lifters normally you bleed them before install. But then gain by the time you got the engine and got it running

      Ka24de doesn't have lifters it has cam over valve with bucket shim design

    Once you do any head work the lifters are loud as hell. Give it a week lol. Nice work man!

    My egr plate leaked first try too had to bent it to be flush with the intake surface. Btw you did good coming from a person who's built 2 ka-t's. Good job on the rebuild.

    So someone with just basic knowledge like you, would you say this was pretty simple to do? Just boosted my ka and looking into the future in case of the worst

      XxKidFromSpacexX well i got the short block built for me and that’s problably the hardest part. But the rest isnt really that hard if you have the tools and are methodical.
