i;m LOSING MY MIND over the "too spicy" comment
sounds abt white LOL
Not white people finding water spicy...
@@nedvicky20 only if it's carbonated
(takes bite of schoolbread) OHHHH! MY TOUNGE!
(Cast member rushes out to put a piece of white bread in their mouth)
The blue milk too spicey for those people bet.
The reason pineapple makes your tongue hurt, or makes it rough, is because pineapple has an enzyme in it that dissolves meat! Which, you are made of. AND pineapple allergies are VERY common! My mom can’t even walk by the booth!
1st time I went to Hawaii, our hotel put pineapple on everything! My entire tongue was covered in little bumps and it hurt. I always thought it was an acid from the pineapple
I was hoping someone said this! The enzyme works specifically on muscle, which your tongue is. That's why it hurts tongues but not skin covered areas like fingers (though I imagine if you soak in pineapple juice the enzyme would start breaking down your skin!)
Came to the comments to say exactly this. Pineapple hurts because, when you eat it, it eats you back. I'm not allergic myself, but since finding this fact out, I've been put off eating pineapple.
They are very healthy and can help with stomach ailments but needs to be eaten super ripe and in moderation, for the sensitive.
I think I remember a chemistry lab where we used pineapple juice to dissolve different substances. I think it can take off your finger prints! I still love anything pineapple!
Are....are you sure you and your mom aren’t allergic to pineapple? That sounds like what people describe when they find out they’re allergic to citrus.
Pineapple (most prominent in fresh) has an enzyme in it that can break down the soft tissues in your mouth. Some people are more sensitive to it than others. My mom can eat canned pineapple, but if she has more than just a bit of fresh pineapple it tears up her mouth.
@@sncruea this! That's why it can be used as a meat tenderizer
Pineapple burns because it’s literally eating you back
My cousin is allergic to pineapple
Uh no it’s pineapple it does that to everyone 😬
“too spicy,” is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard. I’m dead.

@@bug_thief5509 I’m going back

Something my baby sister would say since she has 0 tolerance. I avcidentally converted my middle sister when I left out a ham sandwich drenched with hot sauce. Since then she's always eaten spicy food.
For me a turkey leg is for the Renaissance Festival where you can eat like a barbarian. I’ll try something more unique at Disney.
I’m always fooled by turkey legs. They smell and look delicious and the taste is ok, but I always feel terrible after more than a few bites, especially when it’s hot. I had one at a wool festival and deeply regretted it.
Which is funny because medieval/renaissance Europe didn't even have turkey.
I got a turkey leg at Walmart for $5 and was so confused when I bit into it because they really do taste like ham lol 🙀
They sell turkey legs at all amusement parks
Super nostalgic at Ren Fest. Def wouldn’t get it anywhere else.
If I’m going to Disney World, it’s a once every two-three years trip so I’m going to be eating stuff I can’t get anywhere else. I can get turkey legs, hot dogs, plain burgers, etc at our local fair. We make sure that we try something new each time we go and get our money’s worth! 🤩
same :)
I feel the same!
My partner and I are currently planning to go to WDW in July but out of curiosity what Power Bank do you recommend to use so we are not left with a dead phone especially with those dining reservations, app resort door opening, and park tickets etc.
We've basically just decided to eat at California Grill, Flying Fish, La Luce, and some Disney Springs places and that's it. Otherwise we eat snack/lunch at hotel or outside park.
I need dates and locations of this fair. I've never seen a turkey leg at any of the fairs Ive been to in Canada
I was aware of pretty much everything in this video but I never ever get tired of listening to AJ talk about Disney. Her bubbly attitude is so infectious and always brightens my day. Favorite channel, hands down. Thank you AJ! 🌞
AJ’s voice is like a hug for your ears
I will most likely not be going to Disney anytime soon but I can't stop watching these videos! 😂😂😂
Same, I’m disney-sick :-/
Same 😭😭
I doubt I’ll ever go but I just can’t get enough of AJ 🤩
I am going but next year 😭
Never bin to Disney world but, have always have enjoyed their movies. Will plan a 2 week vacay someday soon once the Corona situation calms down. Gonna try every single ride there and their top eats.
Woah. With stats like that, I’m concerned I’d eat a turkey leg and die.
We split one between my 4 person family lol
@@brennaw.3345 PFFTTT IMAGINE SPLITTING A TURKEY LEG
@@couchcrew8658 Other option is to keep a clean carry bag and eat it later on in your hotel xD.
I think I'll just stick to State Fair turkey legs.
You take one bite and turn into a mummy 💀💀
Confession: I live in Orlando, lived here all my life, and have been going to Disney for many years...and I've still yet to eat a turkey leg.
If I lived in Orlando, neither would I. I hate turkey.
My husband and I are thinking of moving to Orlando is there any locations we should stay clear from?
Same with CA, save the turkey legs for a Ren Faire, where it just seems more right.
Proud of you!!!!!
@@lcflngn Actually, eating turkey legs at a renfair is super historically inaccurate; turkeys are a new world bird. They wouldn't even have known turkeys existed in the medieval period.
Dole's Pineapple Icecream was the best thing I ate at Disney. 💛
The reason why the pineapple makes your tongue feel funny is because there’s an enzyme in the pineapple that’s actually eating you when you’re eating it. Crazy, but true!
The Turkey Legs use to be plump and juicy but, in the last few years have become tough and dry. Sad it lost it's magic.
Kind of like Disney World.
It looks like a stomachache tbh
I would stay it's better for them to shred the legs and put the meat on mac or some kind of dish with it instead with a lot of moist sauce
It surely looks miserable and sad.
I do not like the turkey legs. They are dry and tasteless
Blue milk is basically that 1.89 Almond milk you buy at HEB.
Or you could just make your own version. Check out "The Geeky Chef Cookbook" by Cassandra Reeder.
Ew
Hello fellow Texan
The turkey leg is how I can get my husband excited about going to Disney 😂
SAME😂😂
Turkey leg is amazing
The power of the turkey leg!
Please make a best gluten free/allergy free snack vid!
Allergy free? Don’t think that’s possible. Other than the majors.
Different ingredients different people different sensitivity
What would be an allergy free snack?
@@kathyc7284 I think they mean like allergen free, and/or special diets ie, special diet for stuff like nut free, gluten free, keto, sugar free, Vegan/Vegetarian, or other preferences, medical diet or just regular diet. I do agree that that would be really cool!
There is a gluten free video , low carb video, and a vegan/vegetarian video that shows dairy free foods. Just go to their home page here on youtube and search for the subject you want.
@@c.julietofcampjupiter8557 Oh..lol. I don't know why I didn't put that together. Sometimes, my brain takes leave of my head.
I first went to Disney World in 1986 and Dole Whip is a Major memory from that trip. LOVE IT.
I've been visiting WDW off and on since '76 and have yet to eat either a turkey leg or a Dole Whip.
As someone who grew up super picky, the pillow pizzas will always have a special place in my heart
School bread is delicious, a must buy on every visit! I like it because it’s not overly sweet like most disney world desserts
Agree!
We have one that's been in the fridge for 3 days and it's still great
I’ve never tried it but just looking at it and th explanation of it sounds delicious to me🤤
Agree I love the cardamon
What is "School bread"? Is it like Monkey bread?
I just want to try mango dole whip once in my life. Also it'd be wonderful if disney world could introduce foods from international disney resorts.
"too spicy"... ok now I know they only eat boiled unseasoned foods at home.
So this is my first video I saw from this channel and I absolutely love your delivery! The whole video was up beat perky and informative. And you sound very down to earth! Great job!
AJ ready to throw hands over food opinions is honestly the biggest Mood ever 😂
Dole whip is great. I just think people get so hyped to try it that at times they get disappointed when they actually do.
I would agree with that. I wasn't excited to try it when I went to disneyland for the first time, but I loved it! I'm not a fan of pineapple, but I love pineapple flavored things (I didn't know that back then). Now I crave it and wish I lived closer to a disney park.
I prefer the citrus swirl instead since I’m not a big fan of pineapple.
"It's so watery, and yet there's a smack of ham to it!"
I sincerely live the Disney moment vicariously through these videos and your voice always gets me excited and I definitely look forward to my next trip there more and more the more videos I watch from the channel 🥰🤩
I definitely agree with the majority of these, if im at a disney park, i always try and get food that i know i wont find outside of the park so i wouldnt go for a burger or chicken nuggets but something more unique
Am I the only person who finds the puffy Disney pizza as a guilty pleasure?! I know its not quality but I love it and it reminds me of my childhood lol
Oh I love it!
I can't comprehend how someone thinks the school bread is in the slightest... "spicy"
I cannot
FATHOM.
How?
How??
Some people taste Cardamom just as different as they taste Cilantro...
I feel guilty for not minding the pizza at pizza rizzo. I guess I was just super hungry. Or I didn't have to make it. And anything I didn't have to make myself tastes delicious.
Pineapple has enzymes that eat the proteins from your skin. It eats you while you eat it, so that’s why it can hurt sometimes when you eat it.
It is my mission every trip to eat as many Dole Whips as possible! I love them so much that I’ve even had dreams that it’s the last day of my vacation and I haven’t had a Dole Whip and I have to go home 😱
To the narrator of this channel: I'm so conflicted. 🙃 I would never want to go to Disney World. The thought of Disney World is a nightmare to me. (I won't go into the reasons why.) But I love your videos and watch every one. Have for years. I've seen every episode. I guess I watch because you always sound so happy. When I've had bad thing after bad thing after bad thing happen to me and I talk to a friend and they just make it all worse, and I go to bed crying, I put on my headphones with your channel on "play all" so I can go to sleep listening to a voice that sounds happy and caring. I can't imagine that I would ever be willing to set foot in Disney World, but if I ever did, I think you're the person I'd want with me. 🙂
I don't know what you are going through, but I do hope things get better for you very soon
Don't worry about it. This time will pass and you will be over your current situation. Just don't think about it too much and stay positive. And make goals to focus on. Your in control don't let it effect you gl.
I have bin through alot of physical and mental abuse. Now I am the happiest man alive with alot of goals accomplished and more to go.
AJ, must pause to say that you are the greatest narrator ever. I admit that DFB is a great site overall but there is something about your voice and your style that makes everything not only informative but fun to listen to as well. You’re the best!
Can you do a list of best dine in restaurants that are wheelchair accessible?
Me vibing to the theme tune after going on a Disney craze and watching all their vids . Love this channel 😍
😻😻
I LOVE the Disney pizza! 8:47 made me so sad. (Then again, pizza is my favorite food, so I’m inclined to like it lol)
I started watching these while on maternity leave almost 2 yrs ago & I’ve been hooked ever since then!
I remember doing a scuba dive in the Living Seas aquarium and looking into the Coral Reaf restaurant from the inside of the tanks. Little kids eating with their family's looked amazed.
Love this content! I'm going on my trip next week on Monday and I've been binging the videos
i’m going on monday too!
MAJOR CORRECTION: Coral Reef is NOT an opening day restaurant, as the Living Seas didn't open until 1989.
We love Coral Reef 😅
Actually 1986
i love videos like these! so helpful!
Very informative. Thankyou for posting this video. :)
Buy a turkey leg as you’re heading out and make it into soup the next day
Wouldn't getting some supermarket salted pork or decent ham or bacon be more worthwhile? Turkey is kinda a garbage bird in terms of meat flavor and quality.
@@LeoMidori before I went vegan turkey with indeed my least favorite meat. I only ate it on Thanksgiving to be polite to who prepared it.
I know Coral Reef gets its hate but I find it to be one of my "must dos" each trip
Love these videos! AJ is so fun!!!
I loved the blue milk, I wasn't expecting the texture, but YUM!
calling one of those doughnuts "too spicy" is the WHITEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN
Norwegian people are white though, right
Americans can't handle cinnamon.
agree, that was pretty funny, better hide the spice cake if they come over
BANAH IM WHITE AND THIS IS THE FUNNIEST THING EVER
@@dab1438 I think they mean white Americans and Norwegian would be European, correct time if im wrong
At least one skolebrod is a must for me on a Disney trip. Stunned that anyone could dislike it.
LOVE Dole Whip and school bread! Must do’s on all my trips! Totally agree about the turkey leg 🤢 and the spring rolls. The grease in the spring rolls was exactly my problem with them.
I live and Cali and I love your videos because lots of stuff from the magic kingdom can be transferred to Disneyland! I’m definitely gonna head back there as soon as possible, and take (some) of these tips to my next trip when it re opens!
The Coral Reef is one of my favorite restaurants in the World. I've never had a bad serving of Mahi Mahi. Oh, and I LOVE me some turkey leg!!!
I was very skeptical about school bread before trying it, since I’m not a huge fan of coconut flakes. But after trying it I LOVE it & don’t feel complete if I miss out on getting some school bread when I’m at Disney World!!🤍✨🇳🇴
Great video! Learned several things such as, I’ll never try the turkey leg, and I am going to seek out the spring roll cart and try the ones with pepperoni. I like the Dole Whip but loved the orange flavored one!
Thank you for everything you do! Thanks for having such a great personality and voice! I have been doing so much Disney research and so many you tubers are soooooo annoying! They sound so fake, they talk about irrelevant stuff in their videos, you're are so great I've learned so much from you!
Call me a child because I will never complain about the pillow pizza.
I needed this video, there's so much food to try at Disney a better list would be what to skip over lol
Your personality just sparkles through this video!
We went to Tony's in December for the 1st time since we've been going and ended up going twice! We loved it and wondered how we missed until then. We thought it was excellent!
Whoever’s Hands are holding the items in this video - your Nails Are STUNNING! 😍
Oh Via Napoli!! They sang happy birthday to me in Italian the last time we went, probably some of the best Italian we’ve had outside of our home! Also my heart breaks for Tony’s because, again, we love Italian food😂
Thank you so much for the information! My family is going to Disney in March 2022 for my grandson's 5th birthday. This is super helpful! Thank you...and you sounded just fine!
I love the little circle pizzas at Disney! One of the things my family grew up eating!
We both like the blue milk. We haven't tried the green one yet, but we probably will get to when we go next month. I'm suprised by the dole whip, but I understand not everyone liking pineapple. But I love it!😋 Now we have reservations for Tony's when we go next month. We'll sure make a video of our thoughts on it, but hopefully it's not too bad.
I’ve tried all varieties. I would prefer the blue but I wouldn’t recommend spending the extra money for the alcoholic version as they don’t put much in there for it to be worth (double) the price.
i REALLY want to try the green milk, i love floral drinks
I LOVE school bread! It's my Epcot day breakfast must. I'm not a sweets person so I appreciate the cardamom spice and slightly sweet custard.
The blue and green milk shocked me, I loved them! Mixed them together and made it 10x better too!
School bread!!!!!! Nooooooo! My all time fave! So delicious.
I'm curious, what's the texture of the roll like? Sort of a firmer style bread roll? But sweet and with filling?
@@KL-qp6yo It's similar to a cinnamon roll with creamy, smooth custard filling.

Just kidding I hope you're able to go and have a great time!
i think you guys can travel here to florida as we can travel to london rn
@@Abby-jl1zb im not so sure...people from us visiting here and uk citizens returning have to isolate for 10days at the moment....i hope your right tho
I definitely agree with everything except Dole Whip, which is amazing and a must-eat at least once per Disney trip. The toppings bar at Cosmic Ray's helps elevate the burgers a bit, and it's usually not as crowded as some other quick service spots.
I got the Dole Whip Pineapple Upside Down Cake with Pineapple and Vanilla Swirl, it definitely balanced out the tartness, it was amazing! And Casey's Corner is freaking amazing!
To me if you took the fragrance from flight of passage and put it in to a drink, it would be the blue milk.
I love dole whips, but I don’t find them overly sweet
I love the dole whip, but the citrus swirl will always be my fave!
I love how happy you are always love from Scotland
13:16 -> Bromelain is an enzyme in pineapple that can dissolve the protective mucous on your tongue / roof of mouth, and then starts eating away at your mouth. It's mainly in the core, so as long as you eat the fleshy parts more... then you'll be able to eat more before your tongue dissolves :D
Is it bad that I would love to get the theme tune as a ring tone? 😅😅 but as ever the Daily Dose keeps helping me make Decisions for that dream Disney holiday when I can eventually do it 😊😊
Many thanks AJ and Team
are you dating anyone
I love the blue milk! I like its soft flavour and silky texture. I recommend lightly sipping after allowing it to melt for the best experience.
Love school bread,I like the galaxies edge milk, love the pineapple doll whip.
What?!!! The spring rolls are my disney world MUST HAVES! I prefer the cheeseburger ones 🤤
Tried last trip. Won't try again.
Just from the video I thought they looked super yummy! Then I saw the prize and was like never mind...
Please make a whats in my disney bag video!
It’s so interesting hearing other people’s thoughts on the food/snacks! My friend Claudia doesn’t care for the dole whip but I love it! & my BBF Jenna & I shared a Mickey Mac & cheese burger that we loved! I know this is a dislike food video but I have to say, I got the cheese popcorn from watching your videos & I now day dream about it!!! 🥰
I’m glad my two one and dones are on here...makes me feel less crazy..dole whip and cheeseburger spring rolls...cheeseburger spring rolls are the only thing I’ve ever had to straight throw away 😆
We have had many excellent meals at Tony’s town restaurant and excellent service!
It is blasphemy to suggest that a Dole Whip is anything but delicious.
The orange slush and vanilla ice cream twist they used to serve by the Tiki Room was amazing. That was back in the 80s and 90s though.
I loooove the Kakamora Float with coconut dole whip! The coconut is not too sweet and the mix of juices adds delicious tangy-ness to it!
I've always LOVED those pizzas, they're actually one of my favorite quick service things to eat!
I like more crust than filling, so even though I rarely get a fast food pizza there, when I do, I am fine with them.
I do love me a fluffy crust pizza to be honest.
WoW 2 videos in 24 hours gg! (Sorry for my englisch I’m french and just wanna say people watch you from France!)
Whoever said the school bread was too spicy also thinks black pepper is too much for them. I wouldn’t take their advice. It tastes like earl grey tea IMO. It’s not spicy at all.
Best dole whip flavor I ever had - the pistachio mix they had at Xmas time in 2019 😍
I remember my brother getting a turkey leg in MK. It was interesting to say the least...
I must be weird.
I love the turkey leg, I thought that Coral Reef Café was an AMAZNG and HEARTFELT experience and I thought that the food was INCREDIBLY fresh, with some WONDERFUL presentation (I went just a small handful of months ago) and would ABSOLUTELY go again, and at Tony's I LOVED the atmosphere and thought that the food was really delicious.
Yes. Blue and green milk - YOU CAN HAVE! IMHO, this is a big failure on taste, for Disney. I MIGHT try them with alcohol, as I haven't done that yet.
For Dole Whip..... I can take it or leave it, honestly. I would be excited to try those Dole Whip nachos in Disney Springs at least once. Those look really, really awesome.
I love Coral Reef. Let them stay away. More reservations for us ! 😆
I just tried school bread finally. I was not let down!! I did get mine at the end of the day, so it seemed to be sitting there for a bit, but that didn’t change my mind about it. It’s delicious, (to me) and it really hit the spot. The cream was slightly cold and the coconut texture really pulled it together. Loved it, I’ve dreamed of it ever since the first bite. 💕
After watching your videos for so long I decided to try the Skool Bread on my 2019 trip. I ended up with a stale one unfortunately 😕 😔 now I am definitely not a fan!! But I appreciate all of your tips, they really impacted our trip in a very positive way!
Noooo the Pongu Lumpia is the best 😭 I tried it with my wife BECAUSE of DFB and now we get it every time we go to Animal Kingdom
I loved coral reef. We had the best view. Wonderful atmosphere and I loved the food (2 yrs ago though)
Me, too.
The food was great when I first tried it a few years ago and loved the view (no matter which seat). Sadly they have recently changed the menu and I’m not sure if I would enjoy it as much.
Coral Reef and the Mahi Mahi is literally my favorite disney world meal ever i can’t believe people hate it
Didn't know about spring rolls from Disney! Wonder if they have the common spring rolls (meat and onion/vegetables), those are my favorites!
