This conversation went very far south, very quickly.
Ross's pancake was the best in terms of the ratios and ingredients and stuff, but it fell all over the fucking floor. Smith wins by a narrow margin.
The monstrosity that Trott prepared is not even worthy of consideration. I can't believe he ate it.

I died when Ross starting flipping his pancake and they made him think he was doing a really good job and he got really cocky as he totally fucked up his pancake.
I haven't watched their vlogs in a while so I hadn't realised Trott and Ross grew beards. It looks good on Ross.
But these kinds of videos always crack me up, especially when Ross ends up screaming things like "I'm blind!!" in that voice of his.
I'm sorry to break it to you but those aren't beards. That's at most a weeks worth of stubble.

At most. Something like 2-3 days is probably closer.
It depends how quick each individual's facial hair grows and how it grows. Mine grows in patches really slowly, so it would take me probably 6 months or so to have a beard like theirs. You're all damn lucky to have good facial hair.

I don't know where this whole putting sugar in the pancakes thing has come from, but hat films are British and let me assure you all, in Britain we don't usually put sugar in the mix
It's only in sweet pancakes you add sugar, but generally traditional pancakes are made without. I'm Australian and i add a bit of salt, and a tablespoon of sugar to my mixes, just to give it a bit more flavour.

Pretty sure Smiffy did the best since... I guess it's edible. I would love to see the three try actually cooking their own versions of the same dish and maybe having Sips, Kim, and Turps (or any of the Yogscast, really), judging the results.

Smiffy's is the best because it was cooked best with the least mistakes and you can get wasted (even though the alcohol would have evaporated xp)

This is eggsactly what I love about about Hat films.
Only Hat Films could try to make pancakes - and come out with a piece of naan bread, shepherd's pie and a creme egg disaster.
I honestly think Smith's was the best. It wins best looking and I feel his would taste decent also.

Smiff wins, he incorperated the extra ingreidient the best while still keeping it as a pancake. Despite being blind, he did it as if he was in a safe workplace environment.

Well Trott's ended up.... odd. Ross' fell on the floor and the chocolate didn't go too well but it look okay-ish. So I guess Smiff won cause his actually went well.

attempting to get an even spread of chocolate and to melt it but it failed really badly and the mixtures started to solidify (when putting chocolate into a pancakes mixture you should melt it BEFORE like ross did)

You melt chocolate in a Bain Marie, which is a water bath. You get a pan full of water and put a bowl above it. The water boils and melts the chocolate in the bowl above.

The water shouldn't boil but be really hot. Boiling damages the flavour of the chocolate
Rianna Shadow From what I saw Ross did not, he just put it in a pan and melted it. That is why it's so hard to get off the pan.

To the commenter below.. putting sugar in a pancake turns it into a, you guessed it, cake! It should be the same mix as the batter you make yorkshire puddings with!
Adding sugar is very common and as in the name it's a pan cake and is usually sweet and served with honey fruit syrup powdered sugar or jam. It's really what you perfer
