Rather looks like a trijicon SRO.. a lot of people are putting these on their rifles. It really improves shooting, seeing that he wears glasses, this would also help… but yes it does take away a bit, but the upside is a lot more
I put one on my Krieghoff last year. I have the same rifle with the same see-through rear leaf, and had previously taken three bulls. For me the range is not the problem, the problem was/is that at 57 I can't focus on the rear site anymore, but with the red dot I took a great bull (my 4th) in Niassa with one shot. At least it's not a scope.
I agree if ruins the lines but I think it helps hunters make ethical clean shots more often and have faster follow up shots. IMO it’s worth it for that alone. If you’re a younger guy with good eyes maybe not but definitely as eyes start to struggle move to red dot.

Nice hunt,but I must that AimPoint sight really spoils the lines of that beautiful double rifle,and isn't necessary at these ranges.
