    Great review Tim as always. Very informative. I Have used the AAP3 for my last marathon.. Agree with you that the upper is a challenge. Ended up swapping the laces to something more stretchy which helped. I have the Endorphin Speed 3 but the heel counter irritates my ACHILLES. I also find the shoe way too soft (energy absorber) especially Compaired to the 2nd version Which I thought was amazing. So I am sceptical about the Pro3 being too soft and unstable even though your comments were very convincing. Did you have any Achilles irritation issues with the SEPro3?

      @RunTall  Před rokem +1

      Sorry for the late response. Somehow I missed a few comments awhile ago. I haven't had any issues with my achilles with Endorphin Pro 3. The upper is very comfortable all the way around. You might really like these if you found the adios Pro 3 a little too soft. The Endorphin Pro 3 does feel a bit more firm then the adios Pro 3's but still has plenty of cushion to see you through to the finish line.

    Just received my order of Saucony Endorphin Pro 3 today. They feel very light in comparison with my other cushioned shoes!! 😊 Hope I'll enjoy running in these new super shoes. Thank you so much for sharing, Tim!!!

      Hi Jean. I hope you enjoy them! Let me know what you think of them and if they are working for you. Have a great day.

    Love your channel and reviews. I overpronate and would wear stability shoes for my training. If I am to consider a carbon racing shoe for my next marathon, which ones would you suggest to be the most stable with some arch support? Thanks.

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  Před rokem +1

      Hi Howard. I really like the ride of the adios pro 3. I also over pronate. As a mid foot striker I’ve found them to work well for me. Have a great day. Stay safe.

    i have ep3 and don't have ap3 but i do have takumi sen 8. i love them both but i like the feel of lightstrike pro more than pwwrun pb. from what i heard from reviews the upper of ap3 is quiet sketchy. saucony needs to find a designer who has better color ideas.

  • @TolunayOrkun

    I think the lighter weight spec for Endorphin Pro 3 might be for the original upper with more holes in them.
    About your foot strike. It is perfect. I wouldn't try to change it to more forefoot. You will probably land more forefoot at higher speeds. The risk of being more on your toes is getting some sort of repetitive stress injury as the bones in that area are smaller. Secondly, the shoes typically have lesser cushion in that area as foam tapers off. You will not be getting as much benefit from the foam. You might as well run in a lesser stack shoe to begin with. Just saying...

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  Před rokem

      That’s true. I’ve had my issues with injuries leaving well enough alone is probably the best course of action. Have a great day!

    Hi Tim, good video. I run in both of them. The ground feeling is better in the Adidas.

      Hi Roger. I just picked up a new pair of the adidas Pro 3 as a potential race day shoe. I ran the miles up on my first pair so they are in my speed work day training rotation. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day!

    Problem I have the Adios Pro 3 is arch pinching which resulted in blisters on my right foot. Shame as I think other than this, its a more cushioned shoe over the Endo Pro 3.

      I'm sorry to hear that. I had issues initially with some pain points at the start of the eyelet chain, but once I got that worked out, I've been enjoying them. That's frustrating that they are causing you pain. Have a great day.

    Hi Tim, great comparison. Do you own the Saucony Speed 3 and if so, how do they compare to the Pro 3?

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  Před rokem

      Sorry for the late response. You comment just popped up with some others that I missed somehow. I haven't had the opportunity to pickup and run in the Speed 3's so I can't give you any insight there. adidas just came out with the companion to the adios Pro 3 with the Boston 12's and they are very similar rides. I might have to pickup the Speed 3's to check them out. Thanks for the question. Have a great day.

    Adidas needs to change that upper in version 4!
    I have the black version of the SauconyEPro3 , my upper is diferent to yours, i think Saucony made uppers for hotter days and colder days and your green version is maybe for colder days, not sure.

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  Před rokem +1

      I think your right they aren’t as cool in foot. I agree with you, I’m hoping they fix the eyelet chain and the tongue. Have a great day!

    If you have flatter arches and like a wider toebox which one if any would be the better pick among these two? Thanks!

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  Před rokem

      I'd personally go with the adios Pro 3. They seem to have more room in the toe box and I also am flat footed (extremely so) and they are working for me. The Endorphin Pro 3 upper is more form fitting and with not as much room in the toe box. Great question! Have a great day and stay safe.

    • @solefreak2
      @solefreak2 Před rokem

      not sure about this, I have flat arches, more so on my right foot and the Adios Pro 3 give me blisters around the arch area, just makes them uncomfortable on longer runs. Not sure if this will improve with wear but I can't risk any injury whilst in a training block.

  • @michaeldominic2070
    @michaeldominic2070 Před rokem +4

    Hey Tim! Did you find the toebox tight in the Endorphin Pro's? I've been wanting to try them but I tried them on and my pinky toes felt cramped. And I have normal width feet.

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  Před rokem +1

      Hi Michael. They fit me great. I do think the Endorphin runs a little more snug in the toe box but I don’t have s very wide foot. Have s great day!

      @gudboyngdisyerto Před rokem +1

      after my first run i had to skip the first eyelets because they are too tight in the toebox. after a few runs i relaced them back to normal.

    The upper on the Saucony seems different than the other colors in the same model?

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  Před 9 měsíci +2

      Yes I believe that it is different. A little less breathable. It works well in cooler weather. Have a great day.

  • @paulmulks
    @paulmulks Před rokem +4

    The Saucony Pro 3's are just brilliant!! No issues with the upper or lacing unlike the Adidas. I really hope that Adidas sort that upper out when they release the new version because the midsole foam is great but the shoe is being let down by that upper and the poor lockdown it has. Saucony are bang on the money and it will be tough for them to improve their next version because the overall package is fantastic!

    • @RunTall

      I enjoy the endorphin pro 3’s but also never had issues with the upper on adios 3. The adidas also are faster for me
