Well done, thank you. I normally get mine in the office, but mil duty sometimes has me away for weeks at a time... I've always been very anxious about the thigh injection but this made it seem easy enough to try... 1st time, easy peasy... of course, we'll see tomorrow if there's any soreness, but I doubt it since I barely felt it... it's just so viscous that the small gauge needles don't let you do it very easily!

Warm the T up, either hold in your hand or I soak the loaded syringe in it's wrapper in warm water. I shoot with 25 g. Another trick I learned is to leave a small air bubble in the syringe (like one tick - 0.1 ml). Does three things, tells me when I'm done (the "whoosh" at the end), gets all the T out of the needle, and prevents T from seeping out when you're done. For me, injecting .6 ml with a 25g pin, a ten count is way too short. Probably more like 20-25 seconds. After 3 years of this I can say quad injecting is fickle. Some shots are easy, some are hard. Some have post injection pain, most don't. TRT is a commitment.
You fforgot to check if you hit a vein with the injection.

Thank you! Best choice I ever made was agreeing to take these injections but I've had the hardest time getting it right. I was using a 23ga needle but it was difficult to get the med through that tiny thing so I went up to a 21 ga which is just big enough to be uncomfortable. NOW, though, I understand to inject SLOWLY. Yes, yes, my healthcare provider no doubt told me this but it didn't stick until now (pardon the pun). Thanks again!
Several troubling factors, 1 as mentioned there was no mention of aspiration, more importantly they say you can throw the "capped" needle in the trash, that is asinine, you can thrown the syringe in the trash but the needle it's self should go in a sharps container, at minimal get an old laundry detergent hard plastic container when that fills dispose of it at a medical clinic or FD/Rescue Squad and on the safety aspect you never hold the needle and lid as you are re-capping "Be careful not to stick yourself"...SMH, lay the cap down and slide into it.

But people SHOULD do it. Remember that people finding your used syringe needles won't know anything about who used it or how the used it, and it can be quite scary for people to come across. Though saying that, your risk of transmitting diseases from a needle stick injury is still possible even from an IM or SC injection. It's lower than IV, but as noted in the video you can bleed from IM injections and therefor people can catch infections from your used sharps. And again, you may know your "clean" but others won't, and anybody who comes across your used needle will instantly think "AIDS!".
So show some courtesy, get a sharps bin, fill it up and dispose of it correctly. They don't cost much at all, and even a small 1L bin will be good for like 50+ shots if you only put the needle inside it (The syringe part is less important, but I personally still put them into my sharps bin because again, I don't want to worry other people and even the syringe part can cause panic in those unfamiliar with injections)

You should also pull the plunger back once it's in the muscle before you inject to make sure no blood enters the syringe, and you're not in a vein. It's pretty unlikely, but better safe then sorry.
Not as unlikely as you might think. I inject twice a week. Have had blood come up 2 out of 17 times

All the adolescent commentary below is inappropriate. Giving injections is serious stuff. I appreciate the Dr. and the nurse demonstrating how to give an injection, stressing the importance of injecting air into the vial and removing it from the syringe, as well as making sure we know exactly where it's safe to inject without hitting a nerve and possibly causing damage. I have to give a family member injections and I'm not looking forward to it.

First hand hearing it from a doctor you don't have to pull back (or the medical term is aspirate) you can if you wish though and then just choose a different spot to inject.
I used to thin this too but the odds of you just sticking into a vein is very low odds. Yes, it's possible but if you do hit a vein, blood will automatically start filling the syringe. Test has changed my life. I used to be so damn lethargic and low libido too. Ever since I began taking test, I have a much higher quality of life. I take test 250 1(cc)/week. A lot of people think k once you start taking test that your body will start making it again, this is false. Once your body stops making normal.levels of test it will never produce it again like when you were younger. You can actually take test forever as long as your are responsible and respectful.

Because there are no large blood vessels in the recommended sites, aspiration before injection (i.e., pulling back on the syringe plunger after needle insertion but before injection) is not necessary.

i started pro eq and cyp then was going to do the deca and my other cyp after but my buddy said to start the deca idk if i should run all that at once seems crazy for someone trying to burn fat as a main goal.

Thank you for the instruction, I just injected (3) 1 cc doses into both my left and right legs as I require 3 cc every 3 weeks. Usually my wife gives me my shot in the glute but she has been working different shifts then me - SO this is a big help to do it myself.
Any issues with "dead leg"? Heard so many horror stories about barely being able to walk.

Great video I was worried I was not hitting muscle with my 1" ×22 gauge needle. Injecting into my glute.

great video, but unfortunately i did not see it before my injection. I actually went into the front side of my quad and now it is extremely painful. Feels a bit swollen, almost like a bruise but no discoloration. What can i take for the pain as when i walk it feels extremely bruised.

thank you for this. my doc only gave me the 1 inch to use and it was still simple and smooth after this vid. just pretended I was in saving private Ryan and yelled "morphine stat!!!!" lol seriously though it was easier than I thought it would be. These next four words I say will make life much easier for you. I had to thank a friend who shared it with me.....
WARM UP YOUR TEST!!!!
I take a bowl and fill it up with roughly 1/2 inch to 1 inch of water. I heat it up in my microwave for 52 seconds on HIGH. Every microwave may need different times, but that is the sweet spot for me. I only have the bowl and water go in the microwave and not the test. Afterwards I take it out and sit the bowl on the counter. Then I pick up my container of test, and sit it down in the heated water. I let it sit roughly 5-10 minutes. Then I use my alcohol swabs to wipe the top of the container before drawing my dose, and also wipe down my upper cheek or leg for the injection.
I find warming your test minimizes post injection pain or PIP which sometimes can hurt. I hope this helps someone.

Better to pull out slow. Also pull the skin and hold before inject when you release it offsets the hole going through your skin and the muscle. This keeps it from leaking oil and blood. Heating the oil helps the oil become more fluid and easier to push the plunger. Push the fluid slowly to allow time for the oil to fill the muscle without discomfort. Heat oil with a heating blanket or hot water. Not boiling water. Hot water. These tips will save you soreness and alleviate bruising and leaking. Also if you aspirate you must be careful not to jerk the needle around. Grab the needle close to the skin to keep it stable and pull back just enough to see bubbles forming. If you see blood, pull out and try another local. Unless you are a gym rat. Then just pull back some and try another angle. This isn't medical advice but neither is anything else on the internet. in my first week i got a tight feeling in my throat... like below my adams apple/thyroid area. then i read about pulmonary embolisms and freaked out. Have you experienced this? I read a lot of ppl experience this but not sure how many of them actually bothered to "seek medical attention ASAP"

very helpful. great video and thanks for sharing. also, just a few other items that I think people will find helpful, especially if this is the first time. don't be cheap. pull with one needle and pin with another as mentioned. many use the same 25g to pull and pin. What's the cost of a single needle?. I personally like to let my syringe with the barrel full of Testosterone sit in hot H2O for about 5-7mins. I personally use 25G. 27G is smaller sure, but you will have to push the needle pretty hard to get that needle into the muscle. getting the air out is also VERY important. It should not be too difficult to push the plunger on the syringe. All of these subtle tips add up in an effort to prevent PIP which can be painful for a day or two. About 80% feel some sort of pain from PIP when injecting Test intramuscularly into the quad muscle. I do plan to practice more so that I can pin my hip/glute area as it's a larger muscle and I think a better target IMO.

@@craigspringer4988 depends on how big the person is. if a person is smaller than i would pin the glutes. larger muscle, less discomfort in my experience. the maximum needle that i'd use in my delts for intramuscular is 27g 5/8" but normally for growth hormone i'd use a 30g ½" .

Yes its easier...much easier...easy to locate the spot on the medial delt..i just raise my arms like im doing a lateral raise, point the the meaty part on the lower portion of medial head keep my finger near there looking and mirror then boom poke it
But the pip from shoulders is much worst then anywhere else...well aside from quad injections but i dont fuck with quads to many people talk about nerve endings and shit like that...
@@SOC-ir6im give it a few more shots in the quad and it gets much better!. my leg swelled up, and feelt like i was been leg kicked by an muai thai fighter lol. But after a month of pinning i dont even notice anny pip.

I would recommend drawing the needle back first to see if you hit a vain. If any blood shows in the needle change the head and start again.
The problem is if you aspirate blood you are have contaminated the medication and are required to discard it and start again. You are injecting into an area that is not highly vascularised there are no main ateries just small capillaries. Do not worry about aspiration. She just showed you exactly what you need to do. Except discard the needle immediately into a sharps container.

Aspiration is when you pull the plunger back on the syringe to ensure that the needle isn't in a vein or blood vessel. If no blood is drawn into the syringe that means the needle is in the muscle tissue and you are good to go. If blood is drawn into the syringe then that means the needle is in a vessel or vein and you should adjust the needle and aspirate until no blood is drawn. If you inject testosterone into the blood stream that can be very bad and potentially kill you depending on the amount injected. A lot of people downplay aspirating before injection because it is extremely rare to inject into a blood vessel or vein, but better safe than sorry. Why gamble with the statistics.
mrtimjitsu I’m paranoid as I did a shot in my thigh tonight and when I drew up I didn’t notice any blood... however after I injected I saw about 3 small blood drops in the syringe.
Should I be concerned and how long would it be to notice if I did something wrong... what are the symptoms.

in my experience it's less painful and it's just another site to inject. by switching it up you avoid hitting scar tissue from past shots

You’ll want a larger gauge fill needle like 18g blunt fill to draw up the testosterone because it’s a thick solution like sesame oil. Then switch out the needle to a sharp dispensing needle like 23-25g

Why do you need two needles, 18 v 25 gage ? why cant i use only one needle? you can certainly use the 25 gage for shoulder, butt and tighs

How do you store the bottle after an injection ? The cap of the bottle has a hole from the needle, how do you cover it ?

youre not gonna hit a vein there. lol. its hard enough to hit a vein intentionally for many people, and i doubt its even dangerous, but i assume it wouldn't be nice in your veins to inject this shit.
now if youre injectint heroin, you want to pull back to be sure that you are in a vein. it is something every single junkie does due to the fickle nature of veins.
Shoulder and glute,very small chance of injecting into vein,i still aspirate,as nurses have told me they have withdrawn blood in intramuscular injection,the thigh quite a few veins and nerves,would always aspirate in the thigh,quite unprofessional example

1000mg is a rookie dose. Many people do 500mg/week when they do cycles and 200-250mg/week of test is Pretty normal when not cycling.
Hey Doc, I am currently taking 1/2ML testosterone injections weekly for a month and a half now and my numbers are in the 550's since. I am 48 years young and wanted to know if it is possible the doctor a UROLOGIST will get me in the upper 800's? I just don't feel like I should in the mid 500's or can I take a booster along with the injections? If any of those actually work? Thank you for a damn good video BTW
