    Fantastic imaginative use of router under rolling drum on large threaded rod and the inside router jig as well. That was very satisfying to see. Well done I cant wait to see how the finish turns out. Subscribed now, thank you for posting your talents! Safety first please!

    Such precision cutting the angles where the segments go together..!! That makes for a very strong shell when the angles are so perfectly fitted.
    Oscillating spindle sander..!! Overarm pin router..!! those machines make life so much easier.. :)

      @drummaitaly4973  Před 3 lety

      Hi! Thank you, It depends on the shell dimension, usually we use 6, 8 or 10 segments to male a ring. The lenght of the segment is due to that and it is never the same. In 14 inches shells Is usually around 15cm.

    • @drummaitaly4973
      @drummaitaly4973  Před 4 lety

      Ciao Renato, grazie per il commento.
      Con tanta esperienza e buon occhio ;) le due parti della giunta vengono lavorate come vedi nel video fino ad ottenere una giunta perfettamente coincidente. Successivamente l'abbondanza viene fresata sia fuori che dentro quindi abbiamo un margine di tolleranza di un paio di gradi nell'angolo della giunta.
