The moment the thestrals became visbale my jaw DROPPED. I can already tell the attention to detail on plot related things must be amazing
My only question would be: you don’t see the Threstrals until AFTER the dragon destroys the half of the carriage it has in it’s mouth, so the guy had time to apparat’s but didn’t
@@Legacysong2012 suppose he didn’t apparat away due to the contents of that cylinder. He did after all deliver it to them. Though on rewatching that scene, it looks like he wasn’t even aware of the dragon.
By the time George realized that he could Apparate, it was too late to save himself.

i have spent HOURS trying to find a TRUE fan of Harry Potter to watch enjoy the game just as much as i've been. The attention to details EVERY MINOR detail made me cry. Just little things are sooooo appreciated

late but got so sick of people saying about how huge a fan they were and how they'd read it multiple times and pointing out obvious things whilst missing 100 other things. I don't mind people not knowing stuff I just hated them lying.
The fact anyone could have ANYTHING negative to say about this girl shows how unhappy and bored they are with themselves. The pure joy she has and allowing us to enjoy it with her, Miranda - you are truly one of the most sincerest players and can just tell you have a heart of gold. Fan from here on out. ❤

Started as a Hufflepuff too and the boys dorms are directly underneath the girls. I didn’t realize this until I was wondering what was up the stairs and I got jump scared by the stair turning into a slide. Just like what happens to Ron in the books when he goes to fetch Hermione from her dorm!

lol I'm in Ravenclaw and there are suits of armor that drop their halberds when you get too close to the girl's stairs.
@@kristianthaler6525 my Ravenclaw is female so I didn’t know this. My Slytherin is male so when the stairs turned into a slide I was very gleeful that they added that and was like “hey, I found the girls dorm!”
That's kinda cool. In ravenclaw it's just a pair of knights that cut off the path
But we ravenclaws also get the cool roof access so worth it 😁
Slytherin here, I have to admit they sure made the Hufflepuff dorms look cozy! And yes, I too ran around stealing everyone’s snacks.
That's a very Slytherin thing to do. :P
I just use avada kadavra as many times as possible on anything possible
And the villagers don't even get mad if you pick their door lock, wander inside, and loot their stuff.

Always blows my mind that super friendly charms teacher is a slytherin whose troubled childhood lead him this path. They really don't discriminate between houses like the books do. There's even a super mean griffindor.

It's Wendelin the Weird, famous for getting burnt at the stake no less than 47 times in various disguises because she actually enjoyed it. She used a Flame-Freezing Charm and loved the tickling sensation it gave her.

49:05 dude, you can't believe the nostalgia and feelings that washed over me when that scene played. The jingle of the soundtrack, the steam trains and old setting brings back a lot of memories. This feels like a movie and I feel like a kid again. Bravo devs, bravo.
I just turned 21 when the first movie came out and I think 17 when the first book did, and yeah, you didn't have to be a little kid then to feel the same way since it seems like people forget that adults were all about Harry Potter, too ☺ There are moments in the game that give me the chills, especially at night for some reason. They did an amazing job of making us feel like we're living out the movies/books.
I'm 29. I watch ALL of Harry Potter's movie on yearly basis. The moment this music came out, seeing Hogwarts in magical and mysterious atmosphere once again, I shed tears.

The very First scene just had so much personality. With the two adult characters and the man handling a Thestral we cant see. I was hooked from there on

Girl, your reactions to Hogwarts express on beginning and getting sorted is such a genuine joy of a reaction. I cried along with you, this is the game we as fans deserved. The opportunity to walk those enchanted halls of Hogwarts, is our inner child’s dream. The attention to detail to everything in this game is amazing. And I love it I’m currently level 22 and can’t stop exploring. HUFFLEPUFF IN THE HOUSE!! I was sorted into Hufflepuff as well, our common room is like something out of the shire in lord of the rings.
That was my thought too. Like we stepped into a Hobbit home complete with dormitories for boys and girls and a common room.
If you sign into your Harry Potter fanclub and WB games accounts, it gives you stuff and influences your possible house choice. I love it.
I second I saw the Thestrals appear, I realized these developers definitely know their stuff. So amazing!!!!
This makes me so happy, because I was judged for how emotional I was over this game. I’ve played it four times through now, and plan on playing way more. It still feels so special to this day. People who aren’t Harry Potter fanatics will never understand.

Best part of the whole episode Professor Fig Says, "Keep the details of our trip here to yourself." Basically, don't tell anyone anything they don't already know, and the first chance you get you tell the Deputy headmistress everything that happened almost so completely it might as well have been a flashback. priceless.

this. i was in my twenties when the first book came out (i was more into lord of the rings as a kid and nobody has yet quite nailed a single player open world game for it). i enjoyed the books, and i love this game - it does for the wizarding world what jedi fallen order did for the jedi game fantasy. but most important, miranda made me feel young again, with her enthusiasm and i dont care about what people say about her. getting emotional when a childhood dream comes true (or as close as you can get) - you SHOULD get emotional in that situation. she made me remember that feeling from being young, and loving reading books. that is a gift beyond price and i love all of these videos to be honest. this is my third time on the videos.

Hufflepuff looks so interesting. I went similarly with my "real" choices on my first playthrough and became a Slytherin (no surprises there), and the Slytherin common room looks so different and just as unique and lived in. This whole game was one giant revelation. I'm so looking forward to you reacting to certain parts of the story and also some parts around it. Seeing you just during the start was great, and I reacted nearly the same way, with tears of joy and bewilderment that this dream finally came true.
I just began playing this game today, on PS5. Held the joystick in my hand for the very first time.. I am over 40 years old and am a huge Harry Potter fan, so far I got to the school and the sorting ceremony, got sorted into Huffelpuff just like you. Thank you for enjoying the game so much and for all your advice and videos! I have already watched them all but rewatching it now that I am playing....

Seeing you crying when Hogwarts showed up with the title made me almost cry too. Almost because I already cried when it happened to me today. :) This game is truly magical. I was sorted into Slytherin but I changed to Gryffindor and I do not regret one bit.

Some of us grew up reading books, watching first night releases with our parents and enjoying this series as a staple of our childhoods. Getting this world finally available to explore and experience ourselves is something alot of us and relatives and friends that may have passed away have wanted to experience since we were kids. So yes, can be an emotional moment for some including myself, no reason to be so pessimistic about things made to create enjoyment.

I absolutely adore watching your play through. I’ve been avoiding watching play throughs for weeks to avoid spoilers but now I’m done with the majority of the quests in game, and I can finally check out some of the awesome gameplays of others; and yours gives a new perspective, both in houses and the way you approach the exploration part. I especially love when you are getting emotional, and the feelings you got to experience brought me in tears as well. I just love the passion you have for this. Will continue watching for sure, like with a friend who is also a HP fan!

As someone who was in 1st grade when the first HP movie was in theaters, it feels a lot like I grew up with the franchise. Even though I don't keep up with it now as an adult, it makes me happy to see people around my age who still love HP get a game that lets them really fulfill that fantasy of walking around and being part of the wizarding world. I really like how you pay attention to every detail of the character's appearance like hair and skin elements. This is exactly what I will be doing more than half the time creating the best version of myself haha. And that bun in the back slightly disheveled is the best hairstyle I've seen.

I love this game soo much, Like it's a literal dream game, Only way it could get better is if it was set in modern era so we could interact with the characters we all grew up with but it's minor gripe at best, The potter games on the early playstations did their best but the technology simply wasn't there and then the franchise became a shooter, It's soo unbelievably satisfying to be back at hogwarts just running around and finding secrets

I’ve watched a few CZcamsrs play Hogwarts Legacy, but your the only one that struck a cord with me. I enjoyed seeing your reaction to the game just as much as I enjoyed seeing the gameplay. Some people don’t realise what Harry Potter actually means to so many. Watching you become emotional over different parts of the game, reminded me of reading the books for the first time. So thank you for bringing back such wonderful memories. I can’t wait for it to come out on the ps4. I can’t wait to finally go home take care x

Been playing this game almost all day everyday since it came out. love it! and that's coming from someone who wasnt that into HP befor. ive seen the movies and even been reading some of the books.
But your playthrough made me even more invested in the story and the universe of the game!
im watching this after finishing my own run (5 months late to the party due to being abroad the whole time) and watching your playthrough is so relaxing! your voice is pleasant and really similar to the MC, i just think that's really fun :D your enjoyment is super contagious and this video series will 100% be my comfort watch for the coming week hehe
Hogwarts Legacy always has a beautiful way of making you wanna play the side quests because of the character interactions and Dialogue

As others have said, it's a stark contrast from the player who just randomizes their character and rushes through the content.
