With the inflation, the stock isn't going to be raking in huge gains. It wouldn't be a bad time to BUY it, just don't expect big gains from it for a while. I'll buy once things start looking up in all those trouble areas..until then, too much turbulence for me.

Fortunately, I had a college economics teacher that taught me a lesson at 18. That lesson was: for every purchase you make, you can't buy something else. Varied sources of income is wise and especially living within your means. Think about taxes and how you get your income. I made $72k combined net last year and paid no Federal taxes.

Inflation hits people a lot harder than a crashing stock or housing market as it directly affects people's cost of living that people immediately feel the impact of. It's not surprising negative market sentiment is so high now. We really need help to survive in this Economy.
I think I could really use more guidance to navigate the market, it is completely overwhelming, I've liquidated most of my assets and I could really use some advice on what best to invest into.

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. I admire the financial independence of people, But you can live better if you work a little more. After watching this I think there are people out there, on the extreme, who plan to die early just to be able to retire early. To each their own but to me, retirement isn't just about not having to work, it's about having the freedom to do whatever you might reasonably want, such as travel, buying things, enjoying life, etc. I don't think I could retire with less than $3m in income-generating investments, maybe $2m at the very minimum. I plan to work until I'm at least 45

The retirement fund that my husband and I have built up is doing quite nicely. The majority of the money, which averaged roughly $2 million, was made by taking advantage of the opportunity to purchase luxury stocks at a significant discount during the Great Recession. 2009 saw my stockbroker fired, all of my mutual funds liquidated, and I purchase individual dividend stocks. You can succeed if you are patient, don't panic, and do your homework.

Real shyt, this works. I did it. I played myself on the first sell though (Lexus RX) because I wasn’t confident that I would get exactly what I wanted and I let the first person that contacted me buy for $700 less than my asking price. The next car (Prius) I sold for $300 less than asking. The trick is to take it to a mechanic for an oil change and $30 inspection first. Post that you just had this work done. Keep the receipt so the new buyer can have it. And take amazing pictures of the vehicle inside and out (chose a dope location like downtown. It makes your photos stand out on OfferUp and Craig’slist).
I sold these cars LITERALLY within 2-3 hours of posting them.

It's like flipping houses but with cars and in 30 days.. it may take a little long than that but with the right help of others, you can establish that buying and selling rhythm counter-intuitive business. I'm sure he keeps in mind cars depreciate fairly quick and we all need to monitor the bluebook value, the mileage, etc; for that good profit return .. but good for him and his ambitious mindset!

First, it is really hard to sell that many cars in a short amount of time. It is also illegal to sell a certain amount of cars a year without a dealers license in some states. Is there perhaps any means of making money as a side hustle that won't require much of your time and still very realistic?
Stock trading is one, but you gotta be real careful about where you put your money or better still, get the services of a pro (that way, you give little room for error and maximise time). Made my first million earlier this year this way. Good luck!

Yea it sounds good and to some degree it can be done. My father was in the body shop business and I have seen alot of friends and family that could actually do that and with out the internet back then which made it a lot harder but there are a few catches to that like number one is make sure the laws in your state alow you to do that I know back then here in Florida were I live there was a law that only allowed you to flip a limited amount of cars in the year unless you had a dealer's license. Second is you have to be quick and carefully know blue book values and conditions of a car because they depreciate quickly. Not saying it doesn't work just saying you have to be ready to do the hustle. I did have a friend that was good at it and in the end he actually opened up a dealership and last I knew he was very successful. Of course my dad since he owned a paint and body shop he could really prep a car like for example the trans-am were really popular back then and parents would buy them for their teenagers and then regretted doing it because they were afraid it would kill them by being reckless and street racing them so my father work out a few good deals with parents that wanted something less dangerous and got some good deals out of them with cars their kids had usually all ready damaged to a degree but not totaled them and since my dad would always have extra materials in the shop he could turn a good deal in one to two weeks when things got a bit slow. So it's possible but it's not for everybody yet I still appreciate your sharing because if you don't risk in doing business you can never be successful at the same time do your home work and then plan because there is another saying don' t plan plan to fail... Eye of the tiger folks if you have the heart to succeed.

You must REGISTER the car. You must pay the STATE SALES TAX on the car, so your expenses are higher than stated. If you don't register and transfer it to your name, so you sell it with the previous seller listed on the title you can be charged with money laundering, among other things. Then you need to find "that one" who needs cash today - which is possible since dealers and companies like CarMax buy cars by forcing huge discounts to value - but it takes time. Most states will not let you sell more than 3 to 6 cars in a YEAR without a dealership license. He says, "this is what I would do", not "this is what I did". He is just making up a story with an example of something to flip without mentioning the challenges. Used cars can be part of flipping to make money, but it is not as quick and easy as he claims.
So what if it costs you $100 for registration and sales tax. A lot of states don't have sales tax. And I'm sure there's a way to write off the tax anyways. And no ones saying you have to get your dealership license. This is for someone starting off with only around $1000. And after several cars you could be at $6000. Then you could take that and get a down payment on a house and fix it up. Think outside of the box.
actually it is...while your intentions are good on what you said, you are also coming up with a lot of excuses to not take action and find work arounds these obstacles you mentions without actually breaking any laws. Like the other commenter stated...think outside the box.

Although this is done automatically I have been able to learn a few tricks to help me trade on my own. She takes a performance fee after you have made profits, her style of trading suits me perfectly and i recommend her for you.

Some states require a dealers license to sell a certain number for cars. In PA, you need a dealers license to sell more than 5 cars in a year.
