Karlach being disappointed is probably the hardest judgement of all of them.
Lae'zel 's judgement is also pretty telling, less about the morality of it all the more about the futility of that path.

Halsin actually does react, rather negatively, saying that the form is against nature and only serves the purpose of murder, but only when u can get him in your team. Some of the responses (Gale, Shadowheart) were a smidge different in my playthrough, with Gale being all for it, saying that not all of us can be as eye pleasing as an aasimar ascending in the heavens. Likely because he was romanced in that playthrough to be fair XD
Shadowheart is just...well honestly I can't remember but it amounted to a resounding *EW*.
Gale said the same thing to me and I wasn't romancing him. Most likely it's approval based and not romance based.

The slayers design is absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to wield such a monster!!
Unfortunately, it's not all that great in actual gameplay.

They should give you an upgraded version of the Slayer form if you reclaim the mantle as Bhaal's chosen in Act 3. Also throw something in for Durges who resisted their urges for most of the game and refused Bhaal, maybe a very powerful healing/resurrection spell?
@@mitchcane2352 give the moders two or three years. I’ve seen them fix almost any game, hell I’ve seen fanboys move mountains. And the slayer is just too delicious to leave alone, way too much upgrading material to ignore. PS I think the healing spells a good idea to fix the refusal option gives you a little more reason to consider.

now, when a companion is romanced their reaction to the slayer form is different. Except halsin, he is against it 100% of the time and can actually ruin your romance with him as a result.

all the dark urges scenes are much funnier if you change your character to be a sweet little halfling instead of big bad lizard XD
I’m playing urge as a blue skinned, blonde haired halfling called Smurfette. I haven’t told the people I’m playing with that I’m not just playing a regular Tav. Still in act one and it’s already getting some ways reactions 😅

I gave up on the Dark Urge when he kills the young Tiefling girl, too twisted for me!
The tiefling girl is the only murder you're forced to do as the Dark Urge. After that you can view it as a "wake-up call" and vow to be good, and resist the urges for the rest of the game.
If you knock her off (or kill entire grove) she will be replaced by random npc who is easier to kill
@@itrorev People managed to find a REALLY round about way involving knocking her out and a few other steps. She survives but then another npc appears cause larian think of just about everything.
@@tenjenkNot that roundabout. Just toggle non-lethal damage and K.O. her before you go to sleep that night.
What is this mission and where can I do it?
It is a playtrough as the dark urge (it is an origin that you choose in the character creation menu)
Slayer is ... aggravating weak compared to your normal form. You have to max STR, DEX, CON to make it good, but in doing so you gimp your normal form, and even then its just not great. I tried Durge with 22STR , 14DEX 16CON and it was meh. I then tried it with 14STR, 20 DEX and 16COn and still.. meh. As far as transformations go, it's decidedly cooler than most of the wild shapes, but not actually as good as them. The only thing Durge gets that is actually worth it is the cloak.
It's bad, the only uses that I could think of is that it's like basically your innate death ward and false life. My character is about to die, so I activate slayer form, and in slayer form you get max hp. And if you get defeated in this form you revert back to your state before
Max physical stats but gimp mental stats. Gnome anybody? Gets advantage on mental saves
So just like in BG 2.

@@Keram-io8hv he got a point I was just looking music video after checking out a few BG3 shenanigans videos (i.E shrek shitpost with the hag's swamp and gnome power ranger clowning around), I got one of the 3 dark urge ending spoiled via a thumbnail in my recommended mid playthrough not even 10min later
