    There are two things I love about the aesthetic of this channel. The first is that there is no music at all. Just the actual sounds of work being done. And the second is every time I see his cat.

    Some kitten timestamps:
    1:38 Fluffy assistant jumps into action, and gets a good head rub
    15:39 Avril coming back, after a long break (probably the head rubbing too good)
    15:56 A little more reward for the orange fluff
    17:58 In the background
    And a spooky timestamp:
    0:51 It's alive, it's ALIVE.... the spider is alive :D
    Got to say, the whole thing didn't look that interesting, but once the flame is on, it become superb. No wonder even Avril had to stop a little, even if looking from behind the heater.
    Thanks for the video! Awesome work! God bless you!

    Love watching your videos, thank you. Some advice I was given years ago regarding blocked injectors. Never put a pin down them. The pin you use is likely to be bigger than the hole your trying the clear and in turn will allow excess gas to flow through. Very dangerous stuff. Instead, try boiling in vinegar. Worked for me quite a few times 😊 hope it helps and looking forward to your next upload.

      That is like those old floor furnaces with the metal grates. Just about every house I lived in until I was 12 had them. I fell on one when I was three and burned my leg. There is a picture of me floating around somewhere sitting on my new tricycle in front of the Christmas tree with those grate marks on my leg. They were dangerous. Fast forward 35 years and an elderly neighbor of mine was killed in a house fire when her floor furnace malfunctioned. I had nightmares about that for weeks. It was horrible.

      It’s an unvented heater. They are illegal where I live.

      @@MrTachyon I bet they weren't illegal where you live at the time it was manufactured !
      The big change is the fact that houses are not very draughty at all - no ventilation.

      no different than wood burning stoves. both are still used all over the usa.... i have gas space heaters that still work and are used every winter. your comment is nothing but ignorant fearmongering.

    • @parlainthtownie85
      @parlainthtownie85 Před 3 lety +1

      @@pauleasley6488 Have you actually seen a wood burning stove? Its totally different. I grew up in a house that was heated with a wood burning stove, in Minnesota. This is totally different. There are Jet Engines inside that thing. How is that like wood? Do you see how much gas is going through that thing? There are many very good reasons they do not make these any more. The name calling went a bit far since you are clearly expressing blissful ignorance.

      @jaheater12 Před 3 lety +1

      I worked on a farm, at the Henry Ford Museum. The stove is a coal range. The heat coming off the coal range stove is amazing. You learned quickly to be careful. I imagine children learned to be careful.. Just like we teach children to be careful now too.

    • @TigerheartedWolf
      @TigerheartedWolf Před 3 lety +7

      It's because most people don't have the time, experience or equipment to restore them. Or the money to pay someone else who can to do it.

    • @xTashleyx
      @xTashleyx Před 3 lety +2

      @@TigerheartedWolf That's sad in itself. For how fast we made things we still somehow don't have time. Also, what happened to people having skills such as this? One person doesn't need to know them all. These skills were generally passed down and then it stopped for the most part.

    • @TigerheartedWolf
      @TigerheartedWolf Před 3 lety +5

      @@xTashleyx I mean people have these skills. It's just that these days there's a lot else people can do too. It like you hear of certain skills that were once passed down through the generations back in the days when communities were more isolated and people didn't really leave them. Now ex-skills may only be known by the elders of these communities because the younger ones are leaving the communities, seeing the world and learning things the elders never did. Nothing wrong with it. People have to move with the world, not get stuck in time. Also, these things that are getting restored are generally things made in a time when mass production wasn't as much of a thing. And usually have been surpassed by something more modern. So really only people with the skill will want to go to the effort of restoring them.
