    Hey how much hp do you think a stock gt can gain from this tune? & is there any specific maintenance that should be worked on before tuning?

    • @3GRacing11
      @3GRacing11  Před 2 lety +1

      Just your routine maintenance make sure it has compression and there’s no misfires anywhere and I’d say on a stock car 15-20 is possible with definite fuel mileage increases

  • @djpollo2474
    @djpollo2474 Před 2 lety +3

    Hey man do you think it's even worth modifying the 4g64 on the rs (my 3g rs) I know I can change the head but reliability issues is a fear of mine... it makes me want to keep it stock and enjoy the car as is tbh but I want to do something with too..

    • @3GRacing11
      @3GRacing11  Před 2 lety

      For sure it is worth it! Plenty you can do with the 64 while keeping it reliable and enjoying it at the same time! As long as you maintain it, it should last a while

      You can pick up a good junk yard head and port and polish the intake runners. Also knife edging the junction points inside the head.

      @@3GRacing11 They are very similar to your 3g. Granted you can get a DOHC 6g72 which may or may not be a better engine to build. Trying to get my engine put back in, but because of my situation i need atleast 1 other dude to pick this engine up to get it to the car and hoist. And They haven't been able to show for 2 weeks. And then get her all buttoned up and running. It's a fully built NA dohc 6g72 with 13:1 compression, 272 cams, Like the only stock part left is the rocker arms. Lots of porting and polishing as well. And the cars gutted with race seats and harnesses..Very similar set up to your car besides the engine lol.

      On the 4G GT you just plug the ob2 it doesn't need the small one that the 3g has , you click on CAN 2006+ evo x and you just start datalogging. It should be the Same on 4g GS if you don't see the little obd port then it should be the same
