    2001-2003 Sante Fe

    You must use Evo cam gears, 1 of which must be an adjustable cam gear.

    Good job doing it yourself and saving some money.
    Just a couple of tips though , The balance shaft belt should have been replaced seeing as you had the crank pulley off and you shouldn't use worm drive hose clamps on plastic radiator's they don't allow for expansion and can crack your hose connection point.

      What ecu do you recommend for now and when I put turbo

    • @RvaJay
      @RvaJay  Před 3 lety

      Evo 8 ecu is the best bang for your buck. The 01-05 manual Eclipse ecu is similar to the Evo’s but missing a few features. (Like boost by gear).

      If I put the bigger thortel body without enlarging the multiple entrances, would it gain power? and which header do you recommend?
      and thanks for your help

      If the throttle body is too big your car will run worse without a tune but either way you won’t notice a big difference with just a throttle body.

    What's the benefit of going DOHC?

    • @RvaJay
      @RvaJay  Před 4 lety

      A slight bump in power because the head flows better. The benefits really come in when you go turbo.
