Thank you so much for watching, sharing, and purchasing. It allows us to keep moving forward! - Hry
Your production and professionalism is do high I wish you guys would make more 'battle reports' or 'play throughs' of Arkham and Destiny. Would really enjoy watching you guys play.
Thank you for watching and glad you are enjoying! We have plenty more coming!
Thank you guys for ALL the Star Wars Destiny help. I’m definitely a huge fan of the channel now and love watching all the different videos
Just placed my first order for Star Wars Destiny, which is also my first order with Covenant! Super excited to use your tips to build some decks. Thanks so much for the great content and getting me hyped for this game!
Thank you! You are going to love it!
I made an amazing luke padme deck with these tips thank you guys!
Fantastic video - these tips really helped!
Great to hear Harry! Thank you for watching!
Just purchased this game this weekend. My wife and I both have to build a deck and we are both clueless. Thanks for the tips!
Awesome. Do this for other the games y'all!
Out of curiosity, regarding your synergy example, what decks do you see bb-8 not fitting in to? He seems like a pretty well rounded support that can do a little bit of everything, and adds both a die and dice control. He seems like a card that can kind of synergize with everything.
Thanks for the cool guide
Thank you for watching!
You sir are a gentleman and awesome.
Thanks and cheers!
Lots of helpful tips here. Thanks a lot.
1:29 You should have used a lightsaber effect on Jango. Lost opportunity for greatness. :)
Thanks. I took notes ;)
I would love a guide like this for Arkham (after you get a couple of games in) :D
What I've found is that you want at least a couple of the neutral skill cards that have 2 stat tokens on them, the one with 2 of your choice is super useful for example, either against tougher foes or nasty treacheries. Also the assets that let you spend resources to buff stats can be a life saver as well. :)
Yes indeed! We might have to do something similar!
Would be great! :D
How much asymmetry do you feel is in this game?
Do you feel there is a vastly different meta between playing the light or dark sides?
(Granted with not all the cards exposed)
Deck I made I had fun with is all an all blue deck. Luke 2 dice and Ray 1 Dice. Focused on putting all upgrades on Ray because 2 dice on Luke is pretty scary. Plus they're both melee which help each other out.
How did you get the cards already?
Darth Gregg maybe hes using table top simulator
I want a BB8 deck. :D
Hey guys, thanks for the vid. Good info going into those launch events. Two quick questions:
1) Around 2:10 you say something like "Blue characters = only including blue cards in your deck" - can you still include Grey cards?
2) Around 5:15 you mention a Qui-Gon Jinn preview. I love Qui-Gon, and I've been hanging out for a preview of him, but this is the first I've heard of it! Can you link an old mate to this elusive preview? :D
Thanks again.
1) Yes, Grey cards are neutral and you can include them in your deck regardless of Color of your Characters (unless text of charcater/card say something diffrent) BUT keep in mind that some grey cards are only Villain/Hero!
Fearior I thought so! It seemed really weird when he said 'blue cards only'
Correct! Gray isn't a color, right?!
Qui-Gon snuck into the announcement video - check it here: czcams.com/video/_gK3FXCI1xs/video.html
Can't neutral faction cards be including in any deck regardless of squad color? You mention that your squad colors dictate what can be included in your deck which I thought was squad color plus neutral faction (grey) unless that has changed from the demo at GenCon.
When we say color, we mean Red, Blue, or Yellow! Apologies for the confusion. Gray can be in any deck!
Grey is technicaly not a colour, so.. ;D
I know this is YEARS behind, but when talking about the point value of the cards when building the deck, you mention the option of having one or two of the characters dice. Where is that second dice coming from? I only see one die per card?
Damn you Team Covenant! And damn you Zach for doing so great guides/tips/unboxing movies! Its because of you and you alone I want to play SW: Destiny... (*looks sadly at his wallet...) Bye bye money :P
We promise, you'll be happy with your purchases! This game is incredible and we can't wait!
I'll second this xD
Wasn't at all interested in SW:Destiny until I saw the unboxings and then some matches. Now I just need to use the dark side of the force to persuade my friends to get it too >__>
Bought it. Played it. LOVE IT!!!
Why don't you do such a guide for Ashes? I know some beginners that truthfully need it.
télex quousque Probably cause Ashes has had really shitty distribution support. Even though TC came out in support of the game, I don't think they have even received the most recent packs yet, which were supposed to release in August, and which are available at a number of online retailers, but they're still listed as preorders on TC's online shop. I was super excited for Ashes and I want to love it, but Plaid Hat has crapped the bed pretty hard on ensuring its survivability.
So what are my filler cards to get to a full deck size?
It all depends on the theme of your deck! What are you trying to do? If you need to collect resources to pay for bigger things like Vehicles, put in resource acceleration. If you want to play a slower game, add more control cards. If your deck is fast, consider damage boosting cards. The possibilities are endless!
bb8 seems like a bad counter-example, it gives you a die and controls dice, which are the top 2 principles in your guide lol
He's talking about synergy. BB8 does not synergize with every deck.
The "Game" listed in the about section of this video lists Destiny The Game, not SW: Destiny.
Unfortunately that is an automatic CZcams feature. Wish we could change it!
How many of one card can you have in your deck?
You can have a max of 2 copies of any given card.
Have they announced the release date yet?
Dec 1 I think :)
MikeymajQ yeah they announced that it was the 1st at the prerelease event I went to.
If you have a red and blue character but lose the blue character, can you still play blue cards as long as you don't have to spot a blue character?
Yes, that's correct!
So if i have Rey and Finn and want to play force throw, can i play it on Finn?
That upgrade says "Blue Character only" - so you can only play it on a blue character :)
Ok if i had luke and ackbar, could i play a lightsaber on ackbar if luke was gone?
Yes!
You can only use cards with the colors of the characters? Wow, a lot of people didnt know that, included me.
