    Your production and professionalism is do high I wish you guys would make more 'battle reports' or 'play throughs' of Arkham and Destiny. Would really enjoy watching you guys play.

    Out of curiosity, regarding your synergy example, what decks do you see bb-8 not fitting in to? He seems like a pretty well rounded support that can do a little bit of everything, and adds both a die and dice control. He seems like a card that can kind of synergize with everything.

    I would love a guide like this for Arkham (after you get a couple of games in) :D
    What I've found is that you want at least a couple of the neutral skill cards that have 2 stat tokens on them, the one with 2 of your choice is super useful for example, either against tougher foes or nasty treacheries. Also the assets that let you spend resources to buff stats can be a life saver as well. :)

    How much asymmetry do you feel is in this game?
    Do you feel there is a vastly different meta between playing the light or dark sides?
    (Granted with not all the cards exposed)

    Deck I made I had fun with is all an all blue deck. Luke 2 dice and Ray 1 Dice. Focused on putting all upgrades on Ray because 2 dice on Luke is pretty scary. Plus they're both melee which help each other out.

    Hey guys, thanks for the vid. Good info going into those launch events. Two quick questions:
    1) Around 2:10 you say something like "Blue characters = only including blue cards in your deck" - can you still include Grey cards?
    2) Around 5:15 you mention a Qui-Gon Jinn preview. I love Qui-Gon, and I've been hanging out for a preview of him, but this is the first I've heard of it! Can you link an old mate to this elusive preview? :D
    Thanks again.

    • @Fearior
      @Fearior Před 7 lety +1

      1) Yes, Grey cards are neutral and you can include them in your deck regardless of Color of your Characters (unless text of charcater/card say something diffrent) BUT keep in mind that some grey cards are only Villain/Hero!

    • @jimbonio222
      @jimbonio222 Před 7 lety

      Fearior I thought so! It seemed really weird when he said 'blue cards only'

    • @teamcovenant
      @teamcovenant  Před 7 lety

      Correct! Gray isn't a color, right?!

  • @ProgramCeltic
    @ProgramCeltic Před 7 lety

    Can't neutral faction cards be including in any deck regardless of squad color? You mention that your squad colors dictate what can be included in your deck which I thought was squad color plus neutral faction (grey) unless that has changed from the demo at GenCon.

    • @teamcovenant
      @teamcovenant  Před 7 lety

      When we say color, we mean Red, Blue, or Yellow! Apologies for the confusion. Gray can be in any deck!

    • @SwedishWookie
      @SwedishWookie Před 7 lety

      Grey is technicaly not a colour, so.. ;D

  • @AJsWritingAndFighting
    @AJsWritingAndFighting Před 2 lety

    I know this is YEARS behind, but when talking about the point value of the cards when building the deck, you mention the option of having one or two of the characters dice. Where is that second dice coming from? I only see one die per card?

    Why don't you do such a guide for Ashes? I know some beginners that truthfully need it.

    • @82588LukeAriel
      @82588LukeAriel Před 7 lety

      télex quousque Probably cause Ashes has had really shitty distribution support. Even though TC came out in support of the game, I don't think they have even received the most recent packs yet, which were supposed to release in August, and which are available at a number of online retailers, but they're still listed as preorders on TC's online shop. I was super excited for Ashes and I want to love it, but Plaid Hat has crapped the bed pretty hard on ensuring its survivability.

    So what are my filler cards to get to a full deck size?

    • @teamcovenant
      @teamcovenant  Před 7 lety

      It all depends on the theme of your deck! What are you trying to do? If you need to collect resources to pay for bigger things like Vehicles, put in resource acceleration. If you want to play a slower game, add more control cards. If your deck is fast, consider damage boosting cards. The possibilities are endless!

  • @Medsas
    @Medsas Před 7 lety +2

    bb8 seems like a bad counter-example, it gives you a die and controls dice, which are the top 2 principles in your guide lol

    • @danielgallagher8713
      @danielgallagher8713 Před 7 lety
