Around 2 years back, I used to live in a colony where there was a single mother raising her only 5 year old girl child. Society aunties used to gossip a lot about her and used to say 'shaadi nhi ki hogi bachha ho gya hoga'. Due to very much pressure, one day she revealed that her child was an IVF kid which shocked the aunties even more. Not only woman are judged for not having kids but they are also judged for having kids without husband or through medical methods

That's quite saddening considering the social environment she was raising her child in but immensely inspirational considering she was raising a kid without being bothered about the traditions of marrying a person. In a married life, it becomes comfortable to share responsibilities and continue the cycle at home. But again, it's not guaranteed.

@saurabh singh the lady herself didn't want that "farming"... The point in the above story is that people couldn't accept that women is raising a child without bearing it in her womb "as it is supposed to be". Child is a child, let that be even a test tube one. Also, please be wise in your words because your comment making a sense that a child is a food resulting from sex, denoted as farming practice. I'm not comfortable rn to imagine a child as my food at least.

I have been given side eyes by my mother but nothing more. at this age I sometimes talk about stuff that makes my mother uncomfortable but when she objects or try to shut me up I just say that it's not like people don't know about this and our generation is much open with this because we need to know about things. so, I can suggest that once you can gather some courage and don't close the door and increase the volume a bit more so that they can hear you watching it. but of course you know what worse can happen, so the decision is entirely upto to you. and as a sister, I support you whether you do this or not. cheers! :)

It's been selected by nature that those of female bodies are mothers and those of male bodies are fathers. Nature as it it's known by science. Physical conditioning and psychological truths that have existed for millions of years, are not merely social constructs that can be done away by feminist brainwashing.
There was never a feeling of guilt or shame associated with motherhood. Only in the past 50 years have these things been pushed artificially.
Responsible people take the responsibility and it's a great feeling to be a mother or father. It's the most memorable moment of life to hold your own child in your arms for the first time.
Don't let the feminist propaganda confuse us. Simple natural truths of human condition are the fundamentals which the idiot feminists will never be able to grasp.

At worst they have fallen so deep into misogyny that they are slaves who betray thier own gender and again deserve pity.
A boi talking here. My parents own a pharmacy and my mom is like that too but seriously I just feel real sorry for my mum. She was raised in such a way that even with a real cool husband ( I'm not too biased cause he's a good dad and he really is a great husband, not perfect no but he really was much better than any of my relatives , and he definitely was a far better and empathic husband than my mom deserves ), she's still finds something to be miserable about and goes around kissing her horrible relatives asses even tho she hates them too and doesn't miss an opportunity to be a two faced b*tvh. She has no self respect . Idt she knows how to live without feeling self hatred or hating others. That's just the way her family raised her. So yeah , I think that other 'aunties' are the same if not worseoff since they usually have terrible husbands and perhaps much worse in laws and sons/daughters ,making them even more miserable
The uncles/younger men-women usually have the same problems too.
Usually it's broken ppl who try to break others.
It's like in the movie "
Django unchained " , a story about a slave trying to win freedom for himself and his lover where the principle obstacle he faces is not the white slaveholder but that dude's old slave who's so used to being a slave that he supports his master blindly against someone who you think he would be sympathetic to.
You should feel angry ofcourse but try to pity them too. They never had the options , education , freedom and choices you do
The best we can do is educate them if possible , ignore them if not.
And be better , braver citizens for the kids who are growing up now.

I was just asking myself "why aren't contraceptives for women so scarce in our society? Why the expensive pills and surgeries so unavailable here? Even if they are available, why are women shamed for it?...." Etc things like that.
People have been trying to gatekeep women's sexuality and control over their child. Many families just straight up refuse women to abort the child if she's not ready to be a mom. A bhabhi of mine was pregnant a few months ago and my mother and aunt told her to take care of babies, you can do your jobs later when they get older. I was a little too amateur at that point, like they aren't against abortion but I know that they will call her "weak" if she somehow tries to control her conception.
That's wrong with society, they won't heed more if someone is getting r*ped but dare them if a woman wants an abortion. If you have read this long ass comment, happy new year my swaddle fam 💜

The problem with our country's way of dealing with the issues of population control or even contraceptions has been excessive focus on women. It's the direct result of the lopsided view of women being the sole of caretaker of the child and thus primarily responsible for population boom. This in turn resulted in development of various contraptions mainly for women. Further, if you ask a typical men in a "men's circle" about doing sex by using a condom, they are ridiculed or they themself feel ashamed (result of toxic masculinity). So now we need to find a proper holistic solution which could include both men, women and transgenders(Which is usually ignored). I hereby, propose some measures:
    1) Just talk and talk and talk more about sex openly becz the more we talk, the easier it becomes to remove the tag of it being a taboo.
E.g. Thailand's condom man was one such example who just literally promoted use of condoms in Thailand and we can clearly see the results.
    2) EDUCATE youths about the use of contraceptions and the associated misogynistic policy framework that exists in our country.
    3) Educate gram panchayats in rural areas to help them to deal with this issue in a more comfortable manner.
I would appreciate it a lot if I am corrected in case I might have missed or kept some incorrect viewpoints.

Ok lots of ppl are telling thier stories of aunties and uncles being a%%holes to them , I'm sorry about that but .... just don't mind them lady. At best they are just jealous of ur freedom and should be pitied.

Also youtube algo, since u are a woman, you will get such recommendations. We get the types u wont get ;). No need to create an issue over everything.

@@chaitanyagupta6668 This isnt about makeup vlog or vaginal hygiene. Birth control is a social responsibility and taking care of someone who's close to you is humanity. I know many women try to understand men's condition when they have kidney stones or penis cancer. And why not men try to understand PMS and uterus issues. If you're being like this, its called ignorance. Basically you're not willing to know this.

    I have a genuine question...
Can an unmarried woman get an abortion due to contraception failure like if the pills don’t work or the condom breaks or some other reason? Is it allowed according to Indian law?

  • @haechanradioenthusiast9015

I have certain medical conditions, where I need to control the hormones of my body. And the easiest solution to that, happens to be oral birth control pills. And every single time I go to buy it, I'd face odd looks, straight out questions about my marital status and what not. Including things like "these aren't good for your future kids", while totally assuming both my sexuality and my choice regarding motherhood. This is what the issue is, people don't think women can ever not want to be a mother or prevent a pregnancy. Which is, extreme nonsense. The point is, I am an adult, buying something I need with my own money, making my own choices, and I should not be subjected to any form of humiliation for doing so. Can people mind their own business and let us be?

I love how this channel pays attention to all points of the everyday life issues which commonly get overlooked. They are not one sided in any way, in fact, the channel pays attention to mens problems just as much as women. And yes, this is a real issue, sometimes, women are forced to deal with having kids which they most possibly don't want. Its concerning how families who cab barely fend for themselves think it's O K to add another member to the chaos, and often neglect them
