Lord Jesus, I’m unpacking everything that my mother never gave me. I grew up with nothing but arguing and fighting from my mom and stepdad; my dad, was a coke addict who had commitment issues (was in a relationship for 30+ with a kindhearted feminine woman).
I couldn’t even be focused on swimming or riding my bike as a youth so, I spend the night over at my moms sister’s house to be around my girl cousins, over the weekend because it was a safe place for me until it wasn’t.
I also went to my dad’s house every other weekend but I remember in not wanting to ever go back home - I was safe any place else but home.
My mom gets upset at my niece for teaching my great nephew about what’s being talked about here.
