What is "enough" for Union? In Canada the labor pay/benefit packages are 20% above private sector. Is it enough? NO! They are still demonstrating striking for MORE! HK workers have already priced themselves out of competition that's why nobody wants to manufacture in HK! If you still think it is "unfair" then look NORTH to China or Korea! HK is still an economic envy of the world. So, don't spoil it! Be very happy with what you've got!
You know...even so there is unions in H.K.now,workers still don't get what they deserve for their hard work ! Can you imagine how they survive and getting their fair shares if no union support !? Real estate in Hong Kong was dirt cheap, especially before the riot. You could buy a Chinese style apartment with 1000 sq. ft. for about HK$40,000. I wish I would buy as much as I could.

They're also using "unofficial" no-pay extra long hour such as compulsory assembly, day-end attendance meetings, weekend training to "trap" well-trained employees to prevent better job hunting and job interviews. Meanwhile, the government is enjoying this kind of "invisible imprisonment" so that more people have no spare time to care about or participate in protecting civil and political rights.

It is bcs their unionized work force is getting greedier lazier. They'er no longer competitive! Easy to blame businesses but what they should really blame r the Unions and themselves. Workers in HK is enjoying stable jobs & affluent life. If you complain instead of work harder then all this will disappear. Don't do it!

今天退步到近市民要啞巴一樣,並立D無理法例,打壓市民!
現在的政府也一直在改善， 只是有很多製造不必要的矛盾， 例如， 不夠地， 就有很多環保人士走出來阻， 不夠醫療， 就禁止外地醫務人員來港服務， 太多這些例子....
60年代港英政府統治人民好窮，我幾歲大時住木屋，冇水冇電冇風扇。現在香港冇窮人，65歲老野每人每月攞政府$4060，屋企有兩個老野每月就可攞致府$8120，發達啦！唔使做，一年攞政府10萬元。天有錢跌落嚟！😳
覺得港英政府比中國管較好嘅，大多是沒有真正在在港英政府統治下生活的人

40年前去罗湖一个钟，衣家46分钟。科技进步咗甘多、又用天价搞高铁、先比以前个嘀火车快14分钟。
