    Dr. Parekh, Thanks for taking the time for explaining the most basic but important investigation in radiology. Plain X-rays are becoming a dying art both as performing and reporting. You have highlighted the importance of plain X-rays in this age where clinicians jump to do cross sectional studies even before examining the patient. You are a rare breed of radiologist who think like a clinician/ surgeon treating the patient rather than a technician who cut and paste the reports. “ call the patient to find where the problem is” I some times notice that radiologist don’t even read what is written on the request form let alone calling the patient. Keep going. All the best.

    Ma'm, will report be accurate if AP/Lat view of knee xray is done but in laid down position(I told xray technician to do standing position but he did not listen as my ayurvedic doc only wrote AP/Lat view, without specifically mentioning *standing"?
