There's not a lot I like about manu but have to hold my hand up and say Vidic was class, as a player and a man! He will be missed in the premier league.

People have their values upside down to get so bothered by that, while often supporting terrible things like wars, racism and violence. He has done a lot of good for poor people worldwide, and his selfless, dedicated and fair conduct on the football pitch has been exemplary. It's absurd to judge someone on a private life which is not fully known or understood, or to hate someone simply because he plays for a rival football club. What a magnificent player he still is. In his brief time on the pitch he outran younger players, created a goal, should have had a penalty, almost scored with a great free kick, controlled and passed superbly. No good reason why he should retire from playing yet. Incredible for a 40 year old. And well done on giving young players a chance, and it worked very well.
