- 2 bad Sandra had the superstardom as a teen idol that few ever get, including her competitor Tuesday Weld, who did supporting roles, while SD was a superstar at that time, four years making the worlds top moneymaking film stars. Cute kid.... As an adult, though, Sandra was an extradordinarily beautiful woman, but even as a 40 year old SD fan, I was surpirsed by her appearance in this, The Sixth Sense. Look at these extreme closeups !What a gorgeous mug! Thank God the cinematographer got these closeups. Those eyes! and what an actress! Someone posted on the internet, Guess who was gorgeous? Sandra Dee...and went on to say how beautiful she was when the public never saw her. Too bad everyone has their time, and Tuesday got hers in the seventies, starring in big films like Thief, Who'll stop the rain, and Serial(a flop). Sandra would have been even better on the big screen. Was also imagining Sandra in Tuesday role in Pretty Poison. That would have made the film even more outrageous.

those are very beautiful Eyes , but she was a very beautiful Woman and Person , and talking about eye color , i remember the movie , when a co character in the movie the Wild and Innocent talk about about how her eyes light up, when they talked about certain things , and she said oh they are just plain Oh brown eyes , they may have been brown , but they were far from just being plain , I forgot that back in the 1950's and 1960's , the movie industries were pretty big on blue eyes , it had something do with the lighting and camera dept , now with HD ,it is not just a big these days , but now , with HD Cameras , with people who don't know how to fully run those cameras , they are in some cases , with blue eyed people , are pulling forth the brown layer part of the Iris , making some blue eyed people appear brown eyed , when they are not , LOL how advancements can affect things in unforeseen ways and to be something that they are not .
As an adult, was one of the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen. I never realized her eyes and lips were so gorgeous. Tuesday got pretty in the 70s, but looking again, Sandra was even moe gorgeous. Its funny how people think of these 2 together. When i mentioned Tuesday, a friend said was her name , Alexandra Zuck,which was Sandra's. Tuesday's was Susan Ker Weld. They modelled as kids together according to Carol Lynley ..
How strange... as I type this, I am watching this Night Gallery episode starring Sandra Dee right now, titled Through a Flame Darkly.
