Then, I shared my notes to my 9 year old son and teach him. Since he also had no formal piano lessons. He only learned from school as a class. I also used this video for his guide. It took my son to learn more than a week. Now we can do duet. This will be a beautiful piece for Parent-Child School Show.

I'm glad that someone did some research and used the actual piano parts, great job btw! I dislike it when others put the WHOLE song into piano format (The piano plays all lyrics exactly). YOU my friend have done something good!
Use your right hand's fourth and fifth fingers to do the bottom notes of the octaves and use your first and second finger of your left hand to play the top. You'll still have to do the switch but you wont have to strech your hand toes. Thats what Im doing and its working pretty well :) Hope this helps!

I finished learning the whole song in a week! I am a 11 year old student who hasn’t gone to a single piano class. My relative had moved to their birthplace and gave me their piano years ago, this year I wanted to start playing it. I have been a big fan of Queen since I was 7 and Bohemian Rhapsody was my favorite song. I decided to play it as my first song on the piano. I have been practicing 4 hours everyday in the week and now I can professionally play it while singing.I suffered a lot of pain in my pinky a lot since I had to put pressure on it the most but that didn’t stop me.
I suggest breaking the parts into 3 and practicing them until you have a habit of placing your fingers quickly.
For the people who are starting, work hard and never give up o matter what!

Day 3: Back again with less things to do and more energy. Currently eating a candy cane, writing more stuff down, let's see where we end up today. Finished at 11:31

Day 5: Different piano, it's bigger, I like it more, has a better sound. Different house too, I didn't need my notes, starting to memorize better.

I agree. I just finished this tutorial, but I want it to have an ending. The ending in this tutorial is just to set up the start of it again. I'd be happy if he just did the part right before the operatic section of the song so it at least sounds like an ending.

Thank you so much for this teaching . I have always loved queen since a child . What inspired me to take piano as adult only have about 5 months in once a week with piano teacher … was I watched the 2018 bohemian rhapsody movie . I always wanted to learn to play as a child but never got around. To it until now at age 43. I found u like 3 nights ago I got the first 11 parts down now working on the rest . Your a great teacher I never imagined I can learn to play this as a beginner. So yeah in like two days I learned the first 10 parts today is day 3 starting to learn 11-18. I did notice I skipped by mistake the intro but I might as well finish the 18 parts then go and learn the intro . Queen definitely keeps me inspired . I call it my reward after I practice what my teacher gives me to practice for a hour a day I reward my self with learning this piece it truly keeps piano inspiring I noticed when u learn to play songs that are like a legend to you . my great grandma died she was my piano teacher and she had a stroke and died on June 30th and I wanted to continue her legacy of piano and started searching up piano songs on CZcams and you came up and her favorite song was bohemian rapsidey and I started crying but thankyou for helping me remember what she stood and lived for.

This was really helpful. I’ve never played piano and after watching through this video I spent around 4 hours learning it and I now I can play it all! 17 parts does sound like a lot, but the first 4 parts are super easy and it does repeat a lot. You’ll find you’ll be doing ‘similar patterns’ with the notes. If you struggle to do the cross hand for G & F you can also just use one note instead of two and then eventually get better and you can do both.

UPDATE** IVE LEARNT 11 parts * IVE LEARNT 16 PARTS NOW * UPDATE I’ve learnt it all!!!
It took me about 2 hours to memorize everything(including: playing in order, the tempo, and my middle C is broken so it messes me up a bit), then about 30 mins to play it through without forgetting 😂😂
@@ThatROBLOXgurl if your kerboard is not playing the note open it carefully (the cables inside are not really sensitive but still watch out) then take ou the keys and clean the button thingy, because most of the time the problem is just dust piling up on the buttons lol

@@delsi26 okay what you need to do is with your left hand go te the E with your pinkie and thumb, go one half step down to the black notes. That is an E flat Octave. On the right hand you need to play an e flat (the same as on the right hand but then with only one finger) and last a normal G. Play that al together and you have yourself the ending.
If you dont know what the note names are search on google note names piano and you'll get them.

I learned that in like 2,5 hours and I’m blown away! I haven‘t really learned a new song in like 7 years. Thanks so much! I tried it with sheet music earlier but I usually prefer learning from listening but most of the time that gets go complicated so I often leave it be. Watching actual hands is my favourite method now 😄 I really hope I‘ll stick to it and crash a party some time soon 😄 maybe one day I‘ll even manage to play AND sing at the same time!

I just started playing piano a few months ago and, despite knowing the difficulty, decided to take this song on as the first I would try to learn. Here we are 3 weeks after starting and I have it down!!! Even as a new piano player it was fairly easy to follow.Thanks for the awesome tutorial Amosdoll!! Feels great to say I can now play my favorite song on a new instrument!
I really want to say THANK YOU for this super professional tutorial. I bought a keyboard last Saturday (one week ago) and started practicing this song a few hours every day, and by Wednesday I knew it by heart. Next Queen song: Somebody to love :D

Alexandra S. No hate, but I would reccomend you to read sheet music. It’ll save you alot of time and maybe do some easier songs (if you’re going to learn to read sheet music)
Alexandra S. I’d learn on sometime like simply piano to start with, although it’s probably overrated and piano teachers wouldn’t recommend it, it’s a good way to learn how to read sheet music, then you could buy/download tuition books and there’s tons of free resources online
