  • Today, we're learning how to sew pintucks using a pintuck foot and twin needle! Using the pintuck foot makes easy and fast work of these tiny tucks. Pintuck feet come in different sizes so look around to make sure you're getting the right one for your project. Remember to tighten your tension to create higher pintucks, but don't overdo it or your stitching will be too tight.

lol R.I.P i got pintuck feet in an all-feet kit and THEN i found out i need the double needle, got that, THEN now i am learning that i need the ridge/bump thing
(AND my needles came with feet -didn't even mention they did) so now i have alot of pintuck feet and need to make a bump-attachment...
I'll make one from a tin can. This tutorial is very well-made and thorough though!, thank you, it is easy to follow for my endeavors of FINALLY getting to make my thing!.
EDIT: AND i need to get a shabby thing for a second spool of thread...i am sure i can make a shabby thing for the thing...damn things!, i wish my machine came with the thing!.
(nvm it did oops) well...still learning alot of things, my desire to pintuck has me on a journey that is for-sure.

Thank you so must!! You made this so much easier than what I thought it would be and I've sewn for almost 50 years.. I used to do EVERYTHING the hard way until I joined the CZcams world. Lol. Thanks again

You're so welcome! I also was doing things the hard way (and not very well) until CZcams came along. Glad you found my video helpful! Happy sewing :)

@@TheAwlNighter1 As much as I'm old school and have to admit I'm not at all tech savvy but I sure enjoy yours and other sewing videos and I have definitely learned a lot from you all!! 🤗

Excellent, though my pintuck foot doesn't have the other part, so I'll have to check it out. Thank you for very clear tutorial.

Thanks. This got right to the point but gave a good explanation.. Do you know the name of the little plate you put down under the foot? I haven't seen that plate with feet I've been looking at on Amazon.

Sorry for the late response. The only thing I can find is "raised seam plate" for a Viking machine. It might be called something else for different brands or some machines might only require to foot to make the pintucks.
